A few really good ideas here not the least of which: having cool sounding names ( eg NBA , Pepsi this and that ) for the training elements ( for the kids obviously as older players will not be so amused by the silliness, for them the essential is developing their intellectual understanding of the wonderful dynamic complexity of the game) incorporating extra cardio/fitness elements to the training items as kids with very rare exceptions hate do not understand and will never cooperate with pure fitness/endurance ( i would throw in some pushups), etc.
