The crowd was lame af Friday but damn did Pantera and Metallica put on a good show!

It's a Metallica crowd so it's to be expected. This isn't the 80's-90's when Metallica played with a ferocity that had the crowd going nuts. Now? Legacy act going through the motions and a crowd who is older who just wants to watch for nostalgia with their kids or younger people standing like statues waiting for the Black Album+ stuff. ha Meanwhile, the Pantera reunion despite being made up of similar aged men is absolutely crushing it. The energy is insane considering the variables. \m/ I am going to see them outside of this lineup for that very reason.

He's the weakest link, I wish he would thicken up his tone. Dime's style was all about the groove and his tone was thick yet articulate to accent that, Zakk is again choosing a very thinned out inarticulate tone. If you know the songs it's ok but if you don't, you'd be mostly lost IMO.

I went to the show in Hershey the next day, this crowd was a Metallica crowd. The crowd we had was a Pantera one lol.

No energy in that crowd lol....

That’s because everyone is recording it like this guy 🤷‍♂️ put the phone down and rock out. I was there and did just that. Took one or 2 pics and a quick vid but that’s it. Jammed out the rest of the time.

Sorry but that’s a weak view imo. Get out there and put your phone the fuck away! 🤘🏼. Also sounds like you are upset with the PANTERA tribute band 🤷‍♂️ I’m happy to hear the tunes again and I’m happy they are honoring dime and Vinny. Zakk isn’t dime so expecting zakk to sound like dime is insane. Just like Wolfgang can solo like pop but will never be pop. Period.

Nothing wrong with the venue (arena), the crazy massive stage setup I was concerned about but holy shit did the boys cover ground well during their set so it works well for them.

what time did Pantera hit the stage? I'm going to seem them with Metallica Next week and do not want to miss this!

I think it was around 6:50 but the crowd is massive! Give yourself plenty of time as I underestimated that the 1st night!

@@LeadMe2TheBliss Scumdogs of the Universe is the album everyone likes. Violence has Arrived and War Party are kinda cool too. I'm not a huge fan of most of the stuff newer than that, and not very into the Blothar-age stuff either, though I'm really happy he's there to keep it going. Don't get distracted by the show. The songs are cool too. Go listen to all the old stuff first.

@@YesItsEpic Pantera was a 90’s mosh band, Metallica were “headbangers” from the 80’s. Two totally different bands. Let’s be honest, Metallica’s crowd today is like my age and I’m 57. They are old school, way more than Pantera.

The worst stage I saw in my life! This donut stage give the audience no emotion....
