Love these songs but it's obvious Vinnie and Dime wrote their old setlists bcuz they always threw in at least one deep cut per show. That's how I heard "Hard Lines And Sunken Cheeks" and "Sandblasted Skin" LIVE.

I was in the upper bowl. Wish I had this view and sound... but it was still a bit of a surreal experience to see this in person. I've only seen PanterA once in my life, and certainly treasure this fact. At the time we all didn't have a clue the Extreme Steel tour was the last time we'd ever see this legendary group together. Sometimes I wonder, is there another universe that still features a 56-year old Dimebag thrashing about on stage? As a musician/composer, I have seen, studied, and written a plethora of music in my short 38 years on this planet.. and not once have I encountered anything quite like Dimebag Darrell. With his prowess, style..... soul. And when melodic, his songwriting is second to none. And the flawless chops, with windmill action. Quite definitively, there is only one Dimebag Darrell. And these gentleman paid great tribute to the late Abbott brothers. Phil did great work here. I'm so happy to see him in this form at this time in his life. Zakk and Charlie, thank you for coming through here. Great respect to you all and your lifetimes of contributions to the heavy metal scene. To those who never witnessed this band with the Abbotts..... you missed out on probably the most genuine heavy metal act to have ever graced this Earth. But if you get to watch this show, do not miss the opportunity. It is a wonderful attempt at recapturing the magic that was four bad asses to have emerged from great southern America. With a vocal that stands as categorically unstoppable and a complete wonder; people may not realize the range Phil brought to the table, and how he channeled his talents into the eventual sound that is the PanterA we know... it was and is so unique and crushing, it elevated this band into the stratosphere, no question. PanterA is truly a soundscape in a most aggressive and beautiful state, designed for a special kind of frisson - if you would allow it. PanterA for life.

Basically my dream show in Arlington Pantera and Metallica in Cowboys stadium I been saying for years how cool it would be if that would happen, well now it’s almost here.
