Another marvellous spotlight on someone I had never heard of but now need to read almost immediately. Thanks for such an evocative presentation of these intriguing works. Your insights and commentary, as always, are peerless!

Earl Grey, thanks for sharing as always. I always look forward to what you have for us in your videos. You have introduced me to so many amazing creators I may not have ever discovered on my own. Thank you for all you do!! With all that has happened in the KZread comics community recently you have been a safe place for me to explore what’s out there. Thank you again for sharing your love of comics. You are greatly appreciated.

Ach... don't peel the stickers off, for goodness sake man! Respect the Swede's sticky decisions! Very odd, a parcel of Sventoft's books was handed to me moments ago by my daughter, they arrived for me in the post today, having taken a rather slow Swedish train from the Sanatorium. I have just opened up said package, and taken the briefest of peeks before making a solitary supper with a little KZread for company ... and there they are again on the television.... a coincidence? Or just excellent taste on both our parts? My eyes widen on seeing Svetoft's sketch book for a second time... such a witty line! Delicious stuff. Time to shut the door, turn off the phone and get lost in the music... süsse Träume Earl Grey!

yeah, you're absolutely right about our excellent taste... and the stickers as well: I have to admit I tried to remove the blue one, just a little bit ... but realized that the excellent swedish glue will peel off bits of the paper so I stopped immediately my sacrilegious attempt.

If you showed me that Spa volume and told me it was a manga I would have believed you. Europe needs more black and white comics. I love my Enki Bilal and Oliver Ledroit, but black and white is nice once in a while. Bring back Bernet and Moebius style black and white comics!

Have you read any comics from Joakim Pirinen? Another Swede that I got in mind watching these panels. His stories have a more understandable plot too although absurd and funny. I had many of them years ago and now looking for 2nd hand to get them back. Just found Sokeri-Sakari(Socker-Conny in swedish) and it was still bonkers, unconvensional and funny. It’s just so shamelessly juvenal. Not all his graphics are this abstract but all is b&w if I remember correctly. Thanks for this video. First time I saw works from this creatot.
