Hey Love, Just to put this into perspective for you, think of allllll the people out there who are not living lives for Christ, that are married or in a relationship. Do you really think that God has rewarded them for the lives that they have been living? They lie, cheat, steal, have multiple sex partners...you name it. Look at Hosea's wife, she was a prostitute, he was a man of God, a Prophet, to be exact. God to told Hosea to MARRY her. Was that a reward for her "good behavior"? I think not. TRUST ME, I struggle with this too, but I remember that God has a plan for me and He knows the desires of my heart is to be in a relationship and then married. So I TRUST HIM to work it out for me. And while you're waiting, as the Pastor Todd said, "Maximize your singleness!" Enjoy being by yourself, accomplish your goals, go back to school, travel and just enjoy life's simple pleasures. Remember: getting married is not the goal, STAYING married is. Hope this helps, I tend to ramble ha!

I think that singles have a hard time with the season they are in because the church and the world makes it seem like there's something wrong with you when you aren't married or dating. People will ask you or tell you you're so pretty and smart and this and that I'm surprised no one has picked you up and it makes it seem like man is there something wrong because no one has decided to put a ring on my finger.

To be fair, sometimes there IS something wrong with us which might explain our solitude. This is an exercise in self-improvement and self-awareness. A partner or spouse is not a reward for being ready for one, but the absence thereof might be due to our own issues that we need to resolve.

This "Relationship Goals" series is so amazing. God brought me right to this series as I partake on a new journey of celibacy and my continued length of singleness. I have been ready to have kids and get married, but didn't realize me being single is great to find myself "before the person. I've dealt with loneliness while being single and feeding my loneliness with fornications. So thank you Pastor Mike and Natalie Todd for these videos. Thank you for allowing your testimonies and services be recorded and shared with the world. All the time I'm on KZread and I never seen you all before. When I tell you God introduced this video to me in the right time of my life. Thank you all for the help during this journey I'm beginning.

Honesty and Transparency: When I first met my fiancé, we had a conversation through a wall, like literally not seeing each other’s faces. I just realized, how we was so transparent that time. He told me about his life (his family and all that) without me asking me anything about it. Am amazed, how he confided me all those stuff. 3 years of being good friends, 2 years officially dating, 2 years being separated (I went to pursue my dreams, the season of my singleness I got more intimate with God). Now we are into the engagement stage, and we both are preparing for marriage, spiritually, mentally and financially. God is so good!

If I may, he is still a man and I assume your husband. Keep God first in your life and let God do the transforming. As stated in the previous series, you have to take care of the single you first with God on the inside. It was also stated that one woman with God on the inside can save a whole house. But through it all, remain a good wife and if not married yet, remember the advice given and be ready for when you do say "I do".

As a single person, who only recently felt called to marriage, I wanted to answer the question on how to be content in singleness. Totally agreed with Ms. Wilson. I found contentment in healing and being self aware and taking care of myself. I learned what I enjoyed, learned how to take care of my physical health. I love to run now. It’s my me time and helps me deal with stress. I found friends who have my back most of which are married. But I have my group. I tried new things. I traveled. Nationally. Internationally. I found what centers me in stress. How I cope. I found my purpose; I found my strength and place. Which has made me secure, and has prevented a lot of potential heartaches.

This panel was GREAT! so many nuggets of truth. Wow...A few key nuggets: 40% of divorces linked to Facebook/social media...wow. There is a difference between honesty and transparency. If you are asked about something you are being honest but if you volunteer information you are being transparent. Surround yourself with people who will be honest and push you guys together. Friends of the opposite sex that's not your spouses friend...asking for insecurity issues...wow...wisdom. I AGREE with this. You must guard and protect your marriage. I knew this but we were not in agreement about what guarding your marriage looks like. This was GREAT!! Nuggets for my future relationship. Thank you!

Honesty - when you're asked a question vs transparent - sharing WITHOUT having to be asked. Submit relationship to couple(s) that are where you want to be. Set boundaries, 3 months of intentional friendship. I wish I knew which Jimmy Evans book PM had them read. And singleness is NOT A PUNISHMENT. GOD IS USING THIS SEASON TO DEVELOP YOU. MAXIMIZE IT!!!!!!!!! I will take the knowledge shared in this serious with me into my next relationship.

This series has really got me thinking about everything I thought I knew about relationships. I have been so blessed to come upon this informative platform. I am a spiritual, yet practical person, so this couldn't have come at a better time. I wish to share what I have learnt with my partner, as well as everybody I love, not only through posts and words, but through my prayers and actions. I am really intentionally being mindful of my relationship with my creator as well as with myself as an image of my creator. Today I just lost one of my side hustles, which is actually one of my passions, but despite the shock, bitterness and disappointment, I chose to talk to my creator about it, and to entrust Him with my life. I told Him how disappointed I was, and that I accept that He knew that this would happen before I would, that I accept that only He knew what my next venture would be, and that I was entrusting Him with installing the desire to pursue the next goal. I wont lie and say that I suddenly feel awesome after doing this, but I can say that this prayer has inspired me to be hopeful, to light a lamp as a symbol of hope, but also as a reminder that as long as I tend to the flame, I could remain hopeful and aware of GOD'S presence in my life. I am a teacher, and one of my duties is to be a parent to my learners, so this series is also teaching me something about parenthood because when I think of of all the good things I wish for my children to have, it reminds me that God is also parenting me, that sometimes He may allow for somethings to be taken away from me, or He may even take them away from me, or rather FOR ME, in order to fulfill His interests for me, which can only be prosperous and beneficial to my upbringing. I feel like the physical growth of children is a symbolic representation how God is actively involved in my growth, despite the fact that I am not always initially satisfied with the decisions he makes regarding my growth and upbringing.

And sometimes God will pull something from us, because we have not been treating it or nurturing it in the way he intended. By pulling it away from us we get the lesson often said as realizing what you have after it’s gone. And from that we push to better ourselves (Romans 5:3) . And with that God is pleased and sets you back on that path. (1 Peter 5:10) And you as a better person unified with God, creates successes far more than you could have ever thought before (Romans 8:18). God works in amazing ways. He knows how to speak to His children. And He does it all for our good. (Romans 8:38) Thank you so much for your testimony. I pray we all are able to trust God in every situation we end up in. As bad as it may seem. (James 1:12) For God forms beauty from ashes.
