When CBA & NiC merged, NCBA was given a tax exemption of KES.350 million by the Treasury. If a very basic tax like this is given an exemption, then no one should be surprised about them investing tax havens.

When President Uhuru Kenyatta came to power in 2013, he was meant to approve of the TJRC report that exposed the corrupt dealings of the father and his other family members, but he wouldn't do that. We vote with emotions as Kenyans, and not patriotism, and until then, we will continue to suffer socio-economically. Uhuru Kenyatta was ours and still is, and if the family had an intention of paralyzing Kenya, then we won't be boasting to be the largest economy in the region. They were in power since independence and Kenya became super stable in the region because of the Kenyatta regime. If you haven't had an experience of stepping out of Kenya, you will not understand the phrase (Kenya has been a potential investment for those in diaspora), until this new tax-based regime stepped in; only time will tell.
