They do a pretty good job cleaning their dishes, no need to wash them.

drink milk for 5 min. and lap empty basin for 30 min.

i dont think i can be their nanny. i will refill their milk everytime it is empty.

These pandas are both so cute 😍. I wish that I was one of the keepers working with the pandas. The giant panda is my favourite animal.

The bigger cub was 萌兰/Meng Lan(M) who was born on 4 Jul 2015 and he is 萌萌/Meng Meng's son. The slightly smaller cub was 点点/Dian Dian aka 庆小/Qing Xiao who is the younger cub of a set of male twins born on 16 Sep 2015 & his mother is 庆贺/Qing He. The older twin which was not in the video is 启启/Qi Qi aka 庆大/Qing Da.

sheena sebastian shup up. how much do you know about it?? pandas are endangered animals and if they were in wild , they wouldnt get enough food and they would get attacked by other animals, animals from that time like panda all disappeared. first know more then judge. idiot

Actually there are more wild Pandas than there are captive Pandas. The last survey for wild Pandas in 2014, there were 1,864 Pandas. And captive Pandas there were about 600 by the end of 2019. The captive Pandas population is the insurance to ensure wild Panda population will not go extinct due to natural disaster like earthquake etc. Especially for some wild population where number is low in certain natural reserves, trained re-wild captive Pandas could be released into those population to ensure genetic diversity and healthy population growth, to ensure those populations will not go extinct. 2ndly, through decades of captive breeding, the Chinese experts have learn a lot about Panda and know a lot how to take care of Panda. So whenever they find sick or injured wild Panda, they could heal them back to health and released them after that. 3rdly, about 50% Panda pregnancies result in single birth and 50% in twins. Usually wild Panda mothers will reject one of them if it twin because they have difficulty in taking care of both of them. Unlike captive population where the keepers will rotate them to be with their mother so that both cubs could survive. Therefore captive population grows much faster than the wild population. These result in Panda status to change from endangered to vulnerable in 2015 after the last survey, and I believe status of Panda will further improve in the next survey, through protection and further expansion of natural habitat for wild Panda.

Pan Drache that's because Meng Lan is older and larger than Qing. And, by the way, I am pretty sure that in the description it says that the youngster is called Qing, not Qing Xiao.

MengLan is 2 monthes older, and, the smaller one in this video is QingXiao 庆小 (QingHe’s younger cub), according to the Chinese note
