Pancit Chami, SIMPOL!
Pancit will always be our favorite noodles! Kaya today, tuturuan namin kayo paano iluto at home ang paboritong Pancit Chami ng Classic Savory! #SimpolRecipe
INGREDIENTS:
4 tablespoons cooking oil
1 tablespoon minced onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup sliced pork
1/4 cup sliced pork liver
3/4 cup boiled chicken breast
4 pieces shrimps, shelled
1 tablespoon Datu Puti Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Datu Puti Patis
1/2 carrot, julienned
1/2 red bell pepper, julienned
250 gram thick fresh Miki noodles, soaked in water
4 tablespoon Datu Puti Oyster Sauce
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup sitsaro or snow peas
1 cup chopped cabbage
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Chopped spring onions
Topping:
Quail eggs
Garnish:
Chopped onion leeks

Medyo lang kasi oyster sauce ginamit nya. Pwede mo naman dagdagan ng konting white sugar at tinadtad na siling labuyo para maging tamis anghang sya.
Nu pong brand ng sesame oil?Sakali po ay pede po ba lagyan ng chinese cooking wine, if sakali po pwede nu pong brand mai recommend niyo? Salamat po.

I thought this pancit should have a soupy/gravey consistency. More like canton to me...
After the sauteed toppings, I make a mixture of equal parts soy and oyster sauce with brown sugar in bone broth first then boil the noodles in it until the water evaporates and the noodles start to sizzle. The standard is that the sauce should stick to the noodles and not fall off, thickly coating it and not runny at all. That’s how they do it in Quezon, and it’s always a hit when i make it. My parents who grew up in Quezon preferred it more than Lido’s, Savory, and Buddy’s chami which are almost always a hit or miss. Buddy’s especially, the quality of their noodles disintegrates over time.

Yes. Sesame oil is a traditional ingredient though so perhaps meron na yun.
Binabad ang Chami ng 3X kasi medyo maalat sya. Then I put soy sauce, patis and oyster sauce. Edi ganun din, sobrang alat na nyan

Pag di mo i rinse maalat talaga ang noodles . Pero if prefer na maalat noodles while matabang ang iba sahog pwede din naman siguro.

alat na patis toyo oystr masyadong mdami ung oyster npkalason nyan hindi malasa kundi malason
