Imagine being 17 years old and having a dream of making it as a band, putting your heart and soul into making an album, having to grow up and give up on that dream only to have it come true 20 years later all because someone found your old album in a thrift shop and decided to share it with the world. It's a beautiful coincidence in a universe of chaos.

@@elijahpanf Well, not really Duster were pretty well know on the underground scene, they released two very high quality albums in Inside Out and Contemporary Movement It's true that becoming famous on the internet did motivate them to release new music, but it's not like Panchiko, because Duster was already widely available.
Honestly the 2000s didn’t know what they’ve missed. This is a true masterpiece, respect !!!! Gave me chills

This must be so surreal for you guys. The craziest comeback ever. So excited and so happy to be apart of all this and seeing everything unfold. Thank you Panchiko

i dont think enough people in the comments are talking about how FANTASTIC the mix is on this track! going from the original EP (or hell, even the disc rot version) to this is mindblowing. I don't think anyone in the band could've expected this track would ever be experienced in this form but I'm so so grateful it exists :)

This album just rides a fine line between shoegaze and dream pop so perfectly!
imagine just waking up to something you made 20 years ago blowing up overnight. Would truly be a surreal experience im sure. It’s great that they can keep their sound after all these years.

Why did I just find out about their story and I’m im crying idk why just the idea of a group of kids who never knew their passion project was going to become such a big internet phenomenon and finally being able to be enjoyed by thousands. As a kid who also creates stuff 🤓this just seems like the dream. For people to see what I make and have it reach this far. This is such a special story to me
