Ойын-сауық
In this video, Maddy tries to explain how Panchamda used existing technology of his times, to achieve technological breakthroughs of the future.

Pointed out by a fan Sudeep Majumdar - This effect was also used by Kalyanji Anandji in 1970 in the song NA SUN BURA from PRIYA, much earlier than Pancham's Darjeeling Jatra of 1978. Putting it on record.

Pancham was simply genius..far ahead of his time.
I cannot even imagine what this genius would have unearthed with today's technology. Rest in peace Panchamda.
He is like a institution himself.....🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Extra ordinary Maddy ji jai panchamda
Madhav Ji, Your explaining 'how Pancham Da pushed the technology' to get the best rhythm and sound effects is great ! Wishing You More and More Popularity for KZread channel...🎉
Limitless geniusness!! ❤❤ Thank you for sharing 🌹🙏
Wow Jai Ho Pancham Da ki❤🙏 that's why He was time and type ahead.।

Absolutely immortal Genius legendary composer panchamda 🎼🎶🎵✨🪄✨🪄✨🪄 simply superb
Excellent, lajawab.
He is immortal ❤❤❤ 50years ahead of time.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Again, I learn something new today! Thank you.
Panchamda was always innovative , experimental but never compromised on melody. But the icing on the cake is your lucid and detailed deliberation which makes it crystal clear about the technique and how it was executed
Absolutely mind boggling
Thank you Panchatantra for making Pancham bhakt like me enlighten about his brilliance
RD the Boss.. always ahead. ❤
Superb discovery.
Yes this cascading vocal was also done in Kala Sona Ekbaar Jane Jana. This overlapped recording needs so much precise timing and that too to be done manually could have been only done by our loving and super genious Panchamda.
Thanks for sharing such beautiful insights about the genius PanchamDa.
Genius 🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤
Simply the God of Music, Apart from that the flute note he was used from "Mere sapno kee raani" at 4:41, Mesmerising, Superb, Outstanding, Fantastic, Thanks a Bunch, Madhav!!! God Bless
Thorough Genius
Baap Aadmi 🙏

Isee Liye Panchamda Hamare Beech Na Hote Huye Bhi Sada Sada Ke Liye Apne Dwara Kiye Gaye Lajawaab Sangeet Ke Saath Hamare Saath Hai 🙏 JAI HO PANCHAMDA🙏

Baap re baap kya boss aadmi hai, being a bong we had all of rdb pujo special starting from ruby roy to darjiling yatra, this song was actually nursary rayme every bengali kid learns when he or she is learning bengali alphabets, turning that into a hilerious song, what a super duper genius
Fantastic Bhai
Thanks for including Bangla songs in your studies dure giye phire elam. There is also one great song Tumi koto je dure pl analyse
❤❤❤
🙏🙏
He was genius of the genius!!
He also experimented it in 'Katara Katara milti hai...' & 'Chhoti se kahani se...' from Ijaazat.
I recall one such innovative experiment in recording of a song as early as in 1946 by Sachin Dev Burman. The song is " Babu babu re' sung by SachinDa, S L Puri and chorus. If you carefully observe in second stanza the song slows down in pitch suddenly and regains again. It is a teasing type of song " Dil ko bachana tera dil ka banega nishana". Also in the Kala Bazar (1960) song Apni to Har aah ek toofan hai', the engine whistle sound is so effective and well imitated by a flute play. So Pancham's father was also an innovator no doubt IMHO.

SDB was RD's first teacher. 🙏
Amazing...amazing... This is the most convincing explanation of dual voice in kya jaanu sajan... Madhav, tons of thanks for this... . The Darjeeling jatra explanation too is marvellous... At the end i heard traces of two another songs: 1) Mere sapnon ki raani kab ayegi tu... 2) Chal saheli...
God of music RD Burman sir
Pancham is Great 👍
Brilliant !
The same effect has also been used in the song "Chaandey Jatra" by Asha Bhosle - Choley jaabo aamra, chaandmamar baaritey, the tune later coming in its Hindi version "Poocho na yaar kya hua". Darjeeling Jatra came as Chal saheli jhoom ke in Anokha Rishta
amazing, mind blowing , mile stone in music ..thanks a millions for sharing ...

Music scientist 🙏🙏🙏
Before Kya Jaamu Sajan he did this in Baithe Hain Kya Uske Paas, while assisting to Dada Burman. Well now days this kind of things are so simple to do but Pancham Da is at least 50 years ahead of his time. Such a Genius.

Yes....no idea which was first. Both released the same year, I think. However, Panchamda was definitely the common factor. 🙂 Thanks for commenting and adding value.
Amazing! I like your efforts of explaining.
🙏🙏🙏❤️😍
बाप माणूस, संगीतातला राजा.
Baap baap hota hain .. imagination is bigger then technology
Another example of this technique is a song sung by Mahinder Kapoor... Na sun sun sun bura na dekh dekh dekh bura from the movie Priya composed by Kalyan G Anand G.

PANCHAMDA Panchatantra
What a brainy man. Always ahead of times
With stereo effect also
We used to clean d heads by a handkerchief or by a clean piece of cloth in d tape recorder days to get better sound of the song😂
Aise hi nahi kehte the "he was much ahead of his time"
पंचमदा पृथ्वीवर आलेले गंधर्व च होते. सर, "बैठे हो क्यू उसके पास" ह्या सचिनदा च्या गान्यात त्यांचीच overlapping कलाकारी होती.
Please use good quality Mike. Audio is not clear.
