Panchamda owned every note in music.. No limitations. What makes Panchamda and Kishoreda stand out for me is that both never cared about what people would think, and let their creativity run unbridled.

Panchamda is a "Free Bird" so he could compose anything from everything as per the flow of his thoughts ; very complicated thought processing he had and so was his selection of singers to sounds to all that he did with free heart and mind on whatever he composed. Madhav Bhai. Sachin da ke JEWEL THIEF ka geet raat akeli hai, bujh gaye diye ki finishing ki high range bhi bahut kamaal ki hai.

Madhav ji...You are great. Yes agree that RD was the only composer who could create music with anything... Clapping.. Breath... Sounds produced by mouth..Best boxing...Etc..So many experiencing in music. Many people of those days and today's too don't realize what a loss we incurred by not giving the BOSS his merits..Pancham ji deserves a Bharat Ratna..They have done great injustice to him. I feel ashame of people who robbed RDB.

Even in Aaj ki raat,koi anewala hai song from Anamika, see how he plays with the pitch of the words Shugu shugu shugu. First time,it is at very low pitch,then second time it's at incredibly high pitch,so much so that at one point, you scared that Asha's voice will tear apart. Awessssssome,Asha and Pancham

Amazing amazing amazing.. the one and only RD Burman can do this. These were the real things from the real times! DEEPLY MISSED RD BURMAN SIR!

Both music directors were legendary but Gr8 Ashaji's contribution can't be ignored.she gave full justification to each song & took it to the highest level

Totally agree. Only Asha's voice could convert their abstract ideas into reality so convincingly.

I am not an expert, on music but I always felt that RD extracted the hidden talent of KK, AB, and LM, because some of the songs which these above singers sang , they themselves might have been surprised that they could sing such difficult songs.

Even Daiya re daiya from Caravan was mad,mind boggling song with notes going absolutely haywire from highest to the lowest, tune and tempo changing constantly OMG. Only Pancham could compose such a daredevil song and only Asha could sing it. Can you please decide this madcap song for us ?
