The laser head unit needs to be changed, they quickly fail, the laser is not durable. Overall the radio is good, the restoration is excellent.

Found this one in a landfill. someone put up a + Chinese language course on 20 discs. It was heavily covered in dust, but I was surprised by the sound from such small speakers. I washed the dirt under the nets with a high-pressure washer after disassembling it into atoms. In addition to general cleaning and washing, I also had to clean some of the buttons on the left side. They were filled with something like coffee and oxidized. I also made an audio input into it by cutting into the circuit between the tuner and the general controller (L.R output). switches using a 3.5 mm jack. in Radio mode. I inserted the jack and there is an external signal. took it out and switches to the signal from the tuner.

Hey! Great video. I was just wondering if you have clear instructions on how to open the tape deck. Mine is stuck and I can’t quite work out what to aim for when using the thin wire to get it open.

If you have a device of this series, then it will not work without swearing :) There is a design such that only carefully break out the stuck cassette to get to the mounting screws.

@@TheRus13 🤣Is there specific swear words that are more effective at dislodging the cassette than others? I’ve tried a few of them while using the wire but nothings worked yet. I’m thinking there must be an ‘abra-🦆ing-cadabra’ magic swear word 🤔

I would love to have my 1996 Sony boom box CD player fixed. No one wants to work on a 28 year old radio. I think the problem is the screen. When that died the entire cd system did. The tape player still works perfectly.

Но так как все слушали диски и приёмник то кассеты при редком прослушивании зажёвывало так как ролики и резинки приходили в негодность и потом разобрать было очень сложно если аккуратно.Такая же проблема была у их предшественников под неофициальным названием "кобра".В тех аппаратах ломался гибкий шлейф от основной платы на плату управления и застрявшая кассета приводила к злости при разборке этих аппаратов.

@@user-pt2fl1kr4iни как. Заменил только кнопки и ролик прижимной. Блютуз встроил. Остальное всё работало и внешка была отличная. Видно бабушка слушала ридио. Но звук полностью разочаровал. Как из бочки. Потому и обидно.

Ох сколько я их переделал работая в сервис центре Панасоник.Самая проблема это когда зажуёт кассету.вот тогда порой приходилось применять грубую силу.Конструкция такая для разборки.

В центре Sony CMT-HP7 недавно перестало воспроизводить кассету. Включаешь и начинает головка читать то одну, то другую сторону кассеты и заматывает пленку. Срабатывает автореверс и отключает кассету.

Изуродовал блок дисплея. Можно было выпаять. Корпус сверлил. Не грамотно все. Не прикасайся к технике.
