Did you ever get it working ? If not I'd be interested in it for spare parts ?
Its bad track. I have Panasonic NV-HV61 with same mechanism. Put tape in, press play and push channel buttons. On play channel buttons is trackng. If it not bad track, then its dirty or broken heads.
