This team simply never gets nervous, always stays focused no matter how high the pressure is. Even if we fall behind, everyone knows what to do. How many times have we been behind this season and still won, and the defense in our own zone is simply brilliant. The special teams are incredibly strong. There's not much to say about igor except that he's in full mode.What igor play is outstanding 💪My feelings is the guys have for all situations an answer and nothing can go wrong. 🗽🗽🗽🔴⚪️🔵

Quality vs quantity. Canes literally shoot from the parking lot and from the corners. Rangers goals are things of beauty. Igor must be loving those bad angle shots and saying thank you very much.

When you have 49 goals during the regular season that is a 49 goal shot Artemi made. No one else on that team with the exception of maybe Chris Kreider who had 38 himself could've deflected that Puck through their legs into the net. What I'm saying is that is a goal scorers goal and I think Artemi wasn't happy he missed on the backhand breakaway. This more than made up for it.

They still need to reduce those SoG. Igor was great.

I made a prediction after game 1 that Igor would post a shutout in 1 of the next 2 games but 99 saves superhuman. I loved richter and the king but IGOR IGOR IGOR!!!!! LFGR bring it home this year boys

This team is exceptional. I still think they haven't played their best game. Four exciting lines and solid D (which I doubted coming into these playoffs). On top of that, a goaltending master!

Great analysis, great show. Steve has been a great addition; clearly has skills and John does great as usual playing point and dishing assists.

hurricanes are actually a good dominant team but they are not playing inspired championship hockey they are playing competitive hockey. The rangers are owning the ice and looking for the win with an above average talent / and very keen instinct for the win. That is not just a team it is a team that has found talent to mesh with chemistry and they have welcomed everyone to chip in with their talent. It is brilliant. Rempey is being welcomed with open arms even though some times he plays only 4 minutes and gets in and fights . I mean it is true team of stars. hats off to the coach. And also the management for being able to manage good talent with not such huge salary pay out like in the maple leafs. who are a joke they are the joke of hockey.

Canes get credited for a bunch of soft shots, perimeter shots and dump ins that just happen to be on goal. Rangers controlled the game from the 2nd on, the 3rd period was one of their better 3rd periods, only marred by a goal that should have never counted (AHO not dropping his broken stick, automatic penalty).

@@keveyson AND if you're in doubt,: According to Rule 10.3 of the NHL rulebook, "a player whose stick is broken may participate in the game provided he drops the broken stick. A minor penalty shall be imposed for an infraction of this rule." So YES WAY, definitely a penalty.

The clinical finishing we’re seeing from the Rangers is just different from other seasons, even in games where they’re getting out-shot and having fewer chances they’re still pouncing on opportunities and as long as that continues and Igor continues to be a wall this team should be considered favorites to win it all

I just want to thank those pundits who were calling the Rangers the biggest fakes in the league. I think the boys took it personally, ' here, hold my beer'. We're 7-0, have the big, bad Canes in a strangle hold and probably wondering who's the next speedbump on the way to the cup. PK and special teams have been mind blowing good. LGR!!!!!

Awesome win. Rangers are built well to beat the Canes. They are very aggressive and Rangers are just counter punching taking advantage of broken coverage.

Each new game I'm thinking they will lose one at some point but they find a way. As a long time Rangers fan used to 7 game series nail biters or awful switch of momentum in yhe playoffs I have to say that I love it so far. What I like the most is that they don't seem to take anything for granted and there is no let down. Hopefully they will do the same saturday... and start earlier if possible. LGR!

When are the Canes going to learn that not all shots are the same? They looked like a beer league team just shooting from everywhere. Igor stops those perimeter shots 10/10 times. It's wasting all of their opportunities to set up in the Ozone. I really thought their coach was supposed to be great... but so far he has made no adjustments. 4 GWG's for Bread!!!!

it’s cuz the canes usually thrive on chaos, but the rangers structure has proven to work better so far, and from the post game interview, it doesn’t seem like carolina’s coach wants to make many adjustments considering his answer to almost every question was, “actually we’re playing really good” 😂
