She is the recipient of nine Brit Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, fifteen Grammy Awards, eighteen Billboard Music Awards, five American Music Awards, and two Ivor Novello Awards for Songwriter of the Year. So I don't think she's overrated anymore than I believe Paloma Faith is underrated. Don't get me wrong, I adore Paloma Faith but Adele is talented in her own right. Unfortunately, Paloma has been overlooked because she was up against some pretty talented people like Adele and has only received 1 Brit award for Best Solo Artist. She's deserving ofso much more. But I'm pretty certain she and Adele are very good friends and don't compete with one another and Adele is anything but a wannabe.

It is now official. Paloma faith goes on my concert bucket list.

Paloma is absolutely amazing. As someone who listens to music from Tina's generation and all the way back to the 1920s, I am still able to say that she's got a wonderful voice. She's doing it in her own vocal styles with a little bit of a dancing tribute to Tina. It's fitting. Paloma has a lot of soul, funk, and rock n roll in her voice and music influence. I can however see how a lot of die hard fans of the song and this genre would dislike this. It's one of those songs that's hard to hear in any other voice than the original. Especially when it's someone like Tina. Some songs are quite risky to cover, especially when there is only one Tina Turner, and she is retired and living in Switzerland. ONE MORE ALBUM TINA! PLEASE! lol

WOW. I ve never seen ANYBODY apart from Tina herself, do this song justice till now. This has been the first time in a long time this song has been done justice. Its hard work. But Paloma is GREAT at this! A lot of teeth, and long blond hair, but a great performance and yes, this girl CAN SING! Go Gurrrl! Well done! I love you! GO!!

Paloma is just an underrated talent... her voice fits in with anything. .. you would only appreciate her raw talent if you would see it live.. I love this woman...

Go to one of her live concerts...she'll change your mind. She has so many different genres of music that she performs it's incredible. Listen to her Barbican performance on KZread... it's amazing... her voice sounds beautiful.

I've heard many performers sing this song live... from Tina Turner who sang it best in my opinion. To Celine Dion that sang it beautifully... to amateurs that burned up the stage with outstanding performances. It's a popular song to sing... But I've only seen Tina Turner and Paloma Faith both sing and dance their asses off at the same time and still be able to hit every note perfectly. Paloma Faith is her own women...she's got a very powerful and beautiful voice for those who have never heard her live. There are too few singers these days that sing live without some sort of help from electronics to carry their tune. Paloma doesn't so that. It's natural for a performer that sings and dances at the Sametime to sound a little off. Now had she sounded perfect than I'd know she was lip syncing. But true to her talent she gave an outstanding performance. If Paloma Faith is not your cup of tea then go drink from another cup. The rest of us happen to love and enjoy her music and her personality. But I think you do have a thing for her otherwise you wouldn't be here trying to get noticed with your rude comments.

I like Paloma Faith. I think on the song Changing (Sigma) she has laid down some extraordinary vocals. That is however not a guarantee that everything she does, is therefor automatically fantastic. I do agree that it is natural that if you dance and sing at the same time that you sound a "little" off. (In my opinion in this clip it's more than just a little but that's my opinion) If you are happy with that, fine. For me that is unacceptable. Make a choice. Dance perfect or sing perfect but don't do both if you can't pull it off. I don't think that my opinion is rude. Different from the hardcore fans who worship the ground she walks on, yes but not rude. Your insults (entirely for free) they are rude but that's okay. Everybody knows that when people resort to insults, they are incapable of voicing a strong, well founded argument that differs from other people. To not insult people takes courage, intelligence and the ability of accepting that people have different opinions. Apparently this is not your case, right now but perhaps in the future it will be. After all, even the dumbest animals learn at some point not to shit in their food, so who knows what a human being that resorts to cheap insults might learn...

Why hate? isn't it a compliment to do a rendition to a classic act and song as lively as this? there will be no other Tina Turner and that's a fact but making her songs alive and kicking for the next generation requires new artists to take a step of faith singing her songs. I believe she done it gracefully and joyfully which is important. After this, I have a ton of appreciation to both Tina and Paloma.
