    I don't think I've ever seen that trick to cut angles and have the offcut drop off, cheers! I hate making those cuts, will remember that one for next time. 👍👍

    Mate. That 3mm mdf trick is top marks. I had a proper brown trousers moment first time I had kickback on a mitre, and it missed my plums by barely 10mm! I reckon you'd get a lot of traction if you snip that particular tip into a short mate, it has all the right attributes!

    If you havnt done so already, do you reckon you could do a clip on pallet selection out in the wild. What is the ducks nuts, what do you pick up under the heading of "meh this is ok" and what do you drive past.

    @@dainermade was a Combat Engineer up at 3 from 2010 to end 2015, then moved down to 6ESR in Sydney for 2016 and then they moved the unit to Amberley RAAF base in 2017. Ruined myback and ruptured a disc in my neck on JLC in 2015 so was all downhill med D from there. The new woodwork shop they built up at Amberley though, WOW. They spent some serious coin in there, wish I had access to that now. Back in Vic these days, started making guitars but looking for other avenues to sell some odds and ends to cover the cost of my tools...

    This was a glue only build. It's rare to see that. Plus there was no palm router to shamfer the edges. Shunning tape for elastic bands was also mold breaking. There are makers yelling at their televisions demanding at least a complex leaky epoxy pour to right your wrongs. You are so easy with the strict rigours of the woodworker genre and a breath of fresh air. Could you imagine If you and Jesper were in the same room together, I suspect the combined awesomeness would melt the planet.

    You can add a bit of table salt when you are glueing up, it does help stopping things from sliding around. Tho I've not personally tried it with 45° cuts 🙂 great video. Thanks for your hard work 😁

    so you dont worry to much about the wood being crooked when glueing? i just glued 5 pieces of pallet wood to make a table leg but ive only got 3 clamps and the gaps in the table leg is enough where Im not sure i want to use it. I might order your clamps from ebay ive been spending $37 on irwin clamps from bunnings.

    @@dainermade you should check in out. As a long time anime fan it is some great storytelling, but the character design and early seasons animation are a bit hard to get past.
