I'm watching this video for the first time four months after you made it. What to do with fish has been the one thing that has stumped me the most in this game. This was so very helpful!

Very cool. I'd already figured out most of this. Even using "no bait" (to cut outlays even further) and using my first fishing rod longer than I needed to (because it doesn't require mats to repair) worked very well at the start for me. In fact, you don't even need to leave your home plot to make good money. Just fish in your own pond. Get good at grilling and get better prices. And for "non jumping fish" don't use worm bait. Just bare basics, no outlays = profit.

Great video, watched this while working. I like the rambling, kept me enganged. I rather you talk and talk and talk. A lot of KZreadrs can go minutes without talking and you aren't even engaged. Yeah, some you have to stand pixel perfect to hit the circle.

I always caought a bat fish from cats tunnel but it always swims away from it jumping a lot 😢

You can put any food item. I personally put in extra meat and mushrooms I have an overabundance of. I'm not exactly sure what the best thing to put in for money-converting is at this time.

I go for any veggies without a star as I'm using the stars one to to seeds. Didnt check which one was the cheapest thought, maybe I should. I use to many shrooms for cooking atm 😁

Can you share some mini game tips for the jumping fish? The bat ray is really driving me insane, I managed to catch 1/10. And it's not even an epic one.

When the fish jump, let go of left click, and keep the bobber, not the fish, within the fishing circle. The rays will jump all over the place but follow the bobber and you'll be fine.

Though I rarely fish cuz in my opinion it’s the least profitable way to make money I appreciate you sharing this video. Nice to know we can make more money from fishing if we cook ‘em. And I didn’t know we could fish in the pond outside the house! I’ll stick to hinting for main method for making money but this video still helped me when it comes to fishing. 😁

What about fishing for 3 minutes instead of using this time to cook the fish? would this gives you more than 1065 gold?

If you use glow worm the lowest you get is 85 per fish, so you'd have to be able to catch 12.5 fish to break even with 1065 gold in that same amount of time.

You can get a giant cloudfish from ponds with a glow worm, Flametongue Ray from Killma rivers with a glow worm during dawn and day time, a giant Killma stingray from the village lake during dawn, day, and dusk. also an ancient fish any time of day from the same location. Swordfin eel in Bahari Bay rivers with a glow worm, a long nosed unicorn fish at Bahari coasts during the day, and a void ray in the Bahari mining caves. All of these are with glow worms.

Some interesting info here about fishing that I didn't know. Now it is all mining for money though lol. I make 30k/hr more or less just mining haha.

You can build a repair station after leveling mining up a bit. You can always just use gold and repair at the blacksmith in town by talking to the anvil.

Best thing to do is get a bunch of the worm farms man.
