What Dr. Mads said about the Palestinians is so true. The more they're attacked the higher they stand. It reminded me of the photo of the Gazan hostage sitting in the chair and the soldier standing above him and the look of absolute strength with which the man looked into the soldiers eyes. Even with blood dripping from him, chains on him and no clothes he showed absolute tenacity and courage.

Since 1948, no other country has come to their aid to tell Israel what territory is theirs and to stay out of Palestinian territory. No governing body has forced Israel to stop their illegal occupation of Palestine. In fact, many countries such as the US, England, Germany, the EU, Australia, Canada has encouraged Israeli occupation and expansion. Palestine has been completely unsupported by the rest of the world until we started seeing their plight on social media last year.

Noting more brutal than the attack on October 7th Yea indeed What is even worse now is how hamas is using women and children and putting them under the line of fire so they can escape and so they can condemn israel It’s even worse than we expected What is the highest of it all is the brutality of the folks who should condemn Hamas but are condemning israel who has been trying to liberate Palestine from Hamas Nothing is more sickening than what Hamas has done to its people deliberately The number of women and children killed in Gaza is shocking basically because one could not think Hamas could do that level of barbarity and cruelty It’s sickening

This is a man who *sees* people. The way he speaks about them shows the kind of open-mindedness that allows him to understand and empathize with others. Just as he says we should learn from Palestinians, so too should we learn to see others the way Dr. Gilbert does.

@@maxb9315it is actually a scientific fact that most modern day Palestinian DNA results clearly show that they are a native people from the Levant region who later became Arabized and converted during the Muslim conquest but never left. So ironically it’s more probable that the modern Palestinians are actually descendants of the ancient Jews and are now fighting the direct colonizing impostors of their ancestors.

Thankyou for this very enlightening Interview! So much to comment on but I will confine to the education component. Yes indeed I find the Palestinian children to be amazingly mature, articulate and intelligent! Among the things they say they miss the most it is very often going to school and learning that they miss. I have never come across such a passion for education as with the Palestinian children and this is obviously strongly encouraged by their parents. God please help the beautiful Palestinian people in Gaza!

"Might should not define right" is the perfect encapsulation. The whole world seems to have forgotten this.

I’ve seen Dr Mads Gilbert talk on various other news channels, and he’s absolutely 100% correct on everything here. Norway as a country (likely because of their wonderful Refugee Council that I see represented on news outlets so much) seems to be the European country with citizens most clear and outspoken about the protection of the Palestinian people against aggression by Israel and the likely genocide in Gaza, and I thoroughly respect and admire them for that. I’m from and in the UK, and my government and its primary opposition is an embarrassment on this, and not representing my views, or those of my local community. I’m a white British atheist living in a north London borough with a high percentage of non-white residents and of Muslims; though I’m sure I would still have the same opinion on the situation, even if I still lived in rural south-west England, without ever having met a Muslim. Like Dr Gilbert says, it’s not any kind of religious issue! It’s maddening to see the mainstream media try to construe this into something about “extremist Muslim terrorists”, because it’s so far off the mark.

Norway as Sweden as many Countries in Europe is very Islamophobic and sadly also a lot of racism against arabs. So lets make that clear.

More people need to see this video. Dr. Gilbert shed light on why Israel continues to attack Lebanon. To prevent the Palestinians who are refugees with a right to return. People truly need to be educated about Israel and it's atrocities. People please be educated.
