    I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, aiming to retire comfortably.

  • @BulapGreen

    I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.

    The biggest issue with Palantir is the fact that a great part of its Operational Cash Flow is thanks to adding back share based compensation. You take that out and it’s margins are noticeably thinner and the stock way more expensive.

    Doesnt matter, why? because their operating income is growing each quarter. If you look at each quarter difference in revenue and how much goes to the operating income BEFORE their Net interest from their cash in short term treasuries, its 50-60%. So any additional revenue in $1 gives them $0.50. If you look 4-5 years down the road when they will be generating 6-7 billion per year, their net income will be easily 3-4 billion. Then this become a cashfow machine. Also their SBC has been going down each quarter.

  • @fxa93

    @fxa93

    Ай бұрын

    @@LHAKSS-gu7vd it does matter. You need to account for that when it’s that big. The stock has potential, but when a company issues this many shares despite not needing that much financing, it’s very likely that either they believe the stock to be expensive or they’re trying to obscure the company’s accounting. Either way, it’s a red flag.

    Paul, focus on the present. I agree Alex Karp is wacky doodle. That may get people / Wall Street to not like Karp or his company. However, their boot camps which are bringing in commercial companies by the load is what is going to fuel their future growth. Palantir gives these companies ways to save and make more money than Palantir cost them to do that. The future is bright and you are focusing on things that are not essential to the growth. When this company blows away numbers over the next 5 years Wall Street will not care about Alex Karp the weirdo or a little manipulation. The company is cutting back on their share based compensation as well as pledging to buy back shares. Why not look at these positives.

    Back in January, 2024, I bought 10,000 bucks worth of Planatir and 10,000 of Rivian. I dumped Rivian. But so far Palantir has grown. It was 15 back in Jan; then it went to 25 and now it’s at 20. I’m just holding it. I’m not going to buy anymore. I hear it’s going to hit 500/share by 2030. 300/ share by end of this year. But that’s a hard sell for the 300 by end of 2024.

    I rode a pretty large position from $8.73 all the way to $22, at which point I sold the entire position. Main reason was the valuation and also, opportunities elsewhere that I thought had a more likely chance of a double or triple. For $PLTR to double from here would put it at 100 billion market cap, which would be ridiculous. If it comes back down to Earth, I’d probably get in again, but for right now, I’m on the sidelines.

The stock has recovered a bit since then. But it’s generally sits around a 1 Billion market cap wand can easily double or triple. It’s currently under $10 but it’s had several runs to $20 n the past. Just one of those companies that are pre-revenue for the most part, & are currently scaling, so the stock trades pretty flat for now. Anyway- that’s my personal big pick. Guess we’ll see.

    Didn’t Palentir do a £1B share buy back in 2023?

    I don’t know how much but don’t think it was a Net buyback that reduced shares. They just bought back enough to cover the stock based comp since investors were upset how much stock based comp was. And didn’t the CEO get over a billion in stock based comp a couple years back too?

    SOFI has half the shares outstanding and they also expect to see 55 cents (2025) to 1.00 (2026) ... at under 7 dollars a share, not 21. But PLTR will most likely never see 10 because they are presumed as an AI leader. We will be REALLY lucky to see 14-15.

    How far can a company reach if they don't have a product, only some sketchy software and consulting. This sounds hype and reason for stock increase is this hype. It will collapse when hype stops and people come to their senses.

    I like your way of analyzing these growth companies but where are you miss out and that’s why you missed out when palentir was six dollars a share is future contracts you could wake up and sign a $500 million contract and that changes everything. I’m invested for the upside because I believe they are too we better than every other software company.

    That rude, arrogant braggart of Alex Karp is uninvestable. I agree. The day he'll actually start taking about the company and the products, instead of just stating how good they are, and spending the most of his time talking about politics and geopolitical biases, probably I could consider to invest.

    You really shouldn't make videos like this without first having completed a reasonable amount of research into the company's products and services. It's perfectly okay to say that you aren't wanting to invest outside your circle of competence, but then you should just leave it at that and not comment further.

  • @mikecosculluela8493
    @mikecosculluela8493Ай бұрын

    I disagree 1000%. Palantir is a buy at $20-$23 all day. You then sell covered calls reducing your cost basis further until their next earnings date which could very well have them included in the SP 500. If that happens, (likely) the stock pops to $28-$30. You never ever dismiss a company with that kind of revenue growth while in a sector that is still emerging. Karp or no Karp. You were way off Paul and I'm willing to bet my 1800 shares of PLTR on it.
