In February, the girlfriend of one of my best friends rang me to tell me that my friend had died. He was 27, adult sudden death syndrome. He just went to bed healthy one Saturday night and never woke up. I was shell-shocked. Two hours after that call, this song came on thanks to shuffle and I just broke down. Ever since, including seeming them live, this song has caused me to crumble. Today was the first day I heard this song and instead of crying, I smiled at the good times. A truly beautiful song.

My mom passed away in July. I played this and Have Faith on repeat. Still am. Miss you so much, mom. 💛

The best thing I could have ever done was to bump into this song and this band. They speak the things I'd like to hear when I'm feeling low whilst they also manage to cheer me up. Thank you, Palace. A fan from Italy.

The most beautiful song, poetic soulful. I know this song is about death and a reflection of life. I listen to this song religiously every morning because it reminds me to seize the day, to love, to care, to be a better human, and to enjoy my time on Earth, make my time count while I'm here.

my father showed me this song; he passed away 6 years ago and i still sing it to this day

This is one of the most powerful, beautiful, and haunting songs I have ever heard. These guys are incredible.

I know i did. Unforgetable. Each time..

I just lost my dog a few days ago due to a tragic incident. It happened right in front of me, and it constantly hurts me remembering that event. I never would've thought that I would lose him that way. To be able to spend only a short period of time with him has left me totally devastated. He was just 3, but despite the short time we spent together he doesn't know how much joy and change he brought to my life. He helped me deal better with my depression and anxiety. I never would have experienced better days if not for you. I love you so much Tony, thank you for the unending love you have given me while we were together. I listen to this song every now and then remembering if there is a heaven up there. So I hope that you are finally there. I will always miss you. Don't worry about me.

This song is incredible. The acoustic version makes it even more touching. So happy to discover this performance and to see bands like Palace making music that is different to the main trends in pop music!

I was shown this song 2 weeks ago by my boyfriend travelling around Cornwall and Devon. It’s blown me away. I lost my Dad last year and it brings tears to my eyes. Cherish every day, it’s not forever ❤️

I think it's even better that these guys aren't popular. Great song and vocal

stumbled on this band on a crazy shroom trip, i was struggling with cocaine addiction & i took about 6 grams to find my path. i was listening to another band named parcels when this song came on with autoplay. the immense amount of emotion i felt at that moment. i felt the whole world lift from my shoulders, the addiction leave my body like a dark entity just evaporating from me & after i just felt slow mo. i didnt feel like i was in a rush to accomplish anything, just relax & live. Enjoy the little things. The universe loves you.

I heard this song a while back, I loved it being as I love music it touched me for some reason. I had dreams to make music,my cousin and I who’s really a brother if I may say. He came over one day we had the best time together, I cooked for him but I never thought that night we woke up from a food nap and I walked him to his car, gave him a hug and I love you, that that would be the last time I ever did that for that night he got a stroke while driving and passed away. I love you and miss you Aron still can’t believe you left me brother.
