Im with Bobbie... more onions!
Few Pals "secrets" you weren't aware of. At the 2 walk in locations in Kingsport you can get a Peanut Butter milkshake. They don't offer them at any of the drive thru locations. Pals serves Burgers in the early AM. Great for folks coming off of a night shift at Eastman Chemical who might not want breakfast food. You can't get the frenchy fries however. They serve cheddar rounds in the morning in lieu of the fries. Some would say that cheddar rounds are their favorite Pals menu item.
Glad to hear Bobbi is now team Duke's.
My mom’s family is from Johnson city, this place was always part of our family trips. Nothing beats a chili dog and peachy tea from pals ❤
I just got through eating Pal's. I live in Greeneville and they have a sit down Pal's. The BBQ dog is the best thing in my opinion
Never heard of Pal's but then I've not been in the area. Love the white and red building. The food looks very tasty; now I'm craving a chili dog. 😊
Love the story behind the restaurants. Food looks way better than McDonald's. Good prices also. I prefer miracle whip 😂. Thanks again for another great video.
JOHN AND BOBBIE THE FOOD LOOK DELICIOUS TOO MY FRIEND AND I AM WITH BOBBIE ON THAT TOO WITH THE ONION RINGS
I grew up in Kingsport something you might not know you can get peanut butter shakes at pals but only the walk in locations
Looks like a neat place to have a quick meal. I eat my fries unsalted. The Pal burger looks fantastic!
Love the Mural! Yes Ray Barger kept it local!!! Homeade burgers, dogs, coleslaw, etc.
I love this. When I was in my 20's, I became manager of a sub shop. The owner had to sell and I became half owner. I was so proud of that shop and expanded the business into catering and extra menu items. I had to close after 4 years due to the economy, and I went on to college and got an engineering degree, but will always remember my sub shop.
Love the "don't try to be everything to everyone". Great life lesson.
Thanks for showcasing one of the best spots in my hometown! My dad was one of the workers that actually built that restaurant back in 56. It was also the place to be on Friday and Saturday night cruises...se4een and be seen...those were good times for sure!! This video made my mouth water for some good food...great video!❤❤❤
Yummy! I'm all for the big burger with lots of onions! Have a safe Memorial Weekend!! Blessings!
All that food for under twenty dollars.
Next time you are in the area , try Peachy Mello Yellow or Peachy or Razzy Tea! The Pals in Lynn Garden has a cool vibe, too! Thanks for highlighting one of our favorites and local drive ins
Food looks good prices are very reasonable. Love these local businesses. Love his answer when asked why he didn’t take it further like McDonald’s . He was not a greedy man probably just enough to make his family comfortable. Thanks John and Bobbi another good video.
Greetings from Bristol, VA! I went to Pal's on Lee Highway!
