I am not against immigration, I have lived in multiple countries, but when you go to another country, you NEED to abide by their rules. It is not optional, you have to follow their rules.

It's assholes like this that make us legal full-time international students have to jump through tighter and tighter hoops. People from the sub-continent (where I am from) are just the worst.

He's ex RAF, possibly Provost (Military Police), hence why his questioning is so dogged.

The student visa program has always been one of the largest holes for illegal immigration entry. The unfortunate thing is that there is a limited supply of student visas issued each year, and when these guys come over with zero intention of studying and they are only here for work, then some poor student somewhere in the world had their spot taken and wasted.

Exactly my friend I had a big hope to doing my masters in UK But after I heard of the rules and regulations (working hours and etc) .I gave up the idea How many students from third world countries like Srilanka can pay the course fee upfront....?

This Officer is nailing it. I personally stand against these people who fake education just for couple of pounds...

This one's attitude and demeanor through his interview -- as well as the periods before and after -- is just so odd. He's never defensive or nervous, and he DOES admit to lying and falsifying documents and lying about his activities when he was supposed to be studying. But it makes me wonder what he's thinking when, after admitting to lying and passing false information to the Home Office, in almost the same breath he can say, "I've done nothing wrong," and "I'm not breaking any law." And then, after being told quite bluntly that he most certainly HAS done wrong and broken more than one law, he is quite serious about asking the officer's advice about submitting yet another student visa request as soon as he gets back to Pakistan. Makes me wonder where his reality stops and his fantasy world begins.

Tried to apply again right after being refused. What a numpty.

lying on an immigration application is grounds for deportation. what I don't understand is that the UK male immigration officer is offering the suspect a way out of his pack of lies by offering him a doctor if the suspect does not feel right in the interview. Had the suspect had accepted the service of the Doctor, claiming that he is in danger for lack of medical attention back in his country of origin, the British immigration would have to have let him into the UK under political asylum. It is unfortunate that many of the international students denied re-entry to the UK happen to be South Asians (i.e., Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis). These students are caught working more than 20 hours a week and not genuinely studying. It would be hilarious if these students were denied entry by officers of the same root. For example, an Indian Sikh student is denied by a British Sikh UKBA officer!

It's because of problems like this that UK policy is now to pick on the easy target of genuine Brits with good jobs and status but with foreign spouses. These genuine people are being made to suffer terribly by being kept apart, all so the government can try to claim they are reducing immigration numbers. Even if these spouses are from such 3rd world countries as the USA, Australia or Canada they suffer just the same be being kept apart. The even more ridiculous thing is if these same people can find somewhere else to live and work in the EU for 4 to 6 months (so they can at least stay together - the rest of the EU allows this "abomination") then the UK government can do nothing about it as a back door entry. It's shameful that genuine people must be the ones made to suffer for the sake of damn lies and statistics in an effort to win votes from the bigoted and ignorant who themselves are MORE likely to be the ones claiming benefits.

Illegal documents kick their ass...legal immigrant process takes 10-12 years to get a visa. Good to see Justice served

A person found to have used fraudulent documents when attempting to enter the UK should be banned from applying for any class of visa for a period of at least 5 years in my view.

It is people like this which make us normal tourists fear immigration control because the immigration officers get biased over time seeing all these desi people trying to illegally enter the UK which makes them naturally more sceptical even of the genuine tourists who just want want to travel and go back! The police there is very gentle with such people. If it were Pakistani or indian or any developing country police, the interrogation would start with an effective tool locally called "Chitter", which even makes a person commit crimes he didn't do. :DHats off to UK law enforcement personnel.

Forging documents in Pakistan and India is common place. Its not considered breaking the law provided you paid the correct official the right amount of money for the documents.

+Orville Story You're not supposed to work to fund your education in the UK. You're allowed to work if you want to (like on break/holiday, etc.), but visa applications require you to prove you have enough money/sponsorship to cover your course and living expenses for the duration of your course before you enter the UK.

Bring money from home and if you or your parents really can't afford to then you really should not be studying abroad but back home in Pakistan. Why can't you study in Pakistan there are some really good universities there. Like Punjab Uni Mehran Uni etc

Law states that you can film anywhere unless it poses a security threat. You can request to be pixelated but i think it's at filmers discretion.

What about those college available in UK to steal the trust of Innocent and blind students who have never traveled abroad, as there are many colleges who gave documents like diploma, even Post Study Work Visa Post Graduate Diplomas (PGD NQF Level 7) like was Cambridge College of Learning in 2008-2009. Many genuine students life are also ruined by these colleges. If some one need more proof then i can show as well. So first they should be closed who are earning a lot of money under UK Institute/College Umbrella.
