Shoaib took his frustrations out on comedy nights and i think he did it right! Bcoz after what the selectors did to him in 2011 worldcup, they deserved it! imean it was his last worldcup and he came back after so many years and what tribute they gave him?? opt him out for most of the worldcup and the last 2 games! He is the man who made pakistan proud to the world, He deserved much much better than that! Rawalpindi express forever!

Yuvraj went to the show and made fun of Indian players. Similarly, Shoaib Akhtar went and made fun of Pakistani players. Even these guys do the same. I can't believe that a senior comedian like Umer Sharif can have such a narrow minded approach towards a comedy show. I mean come on, that's what you do on comedy shows!! We Indians loved Ali Hassan and Irfan Malik when they were doing the same in India (cracking Pathan jokes and stuff). Today, these same guys are sitting in the studio criticising Shoaib. Do I smell jealousy?

Loads of it, that studio must have been reeking of jealousy. Kamran seems to have some temporary balls grown to pick out instances questioning the guys commitment, wonder what how that will turn out. Shoaib was never called into question over his integrity kamran! Something you cannot say of yourself.

im a pakistani and i have to say umar sharif is totally wrong here what the hell is he saying with "copy karke naya suit silwalia" kapil is a comedy legend at this moment and i believe there is nobody in india or pakistan who comes even close on his level in terms of comedy. its really dissapointing to see somebody like umar sharif bashing another comedian just because he is from a different country. people on comedy nights had also made fun of some indian cricketers so? there is no need for these people to be that defensive

It was on an entertainment channel & not on any news / info channel. It was taken very sportingly by all of us. We enjoyed it just like any other incident which Indian cricketers come & talk about their fellow players from India. There is nothing personal. The host of the show seems to be very immatured. Such words need not be used. We still respect Shoaib Akhtar as an amazing fast bowler.

Shoaib akhtar is more respected and loved in the world than any other pakistani would be ever, even Pakistan itself doesn't have the same love and respect in the world.

It is a fair comment. Indeed you should be mindful of your homeland, specially when visiting overseas. Imagine Kapil Dev on a show in Pakistani show mocking his colleagues. It doesn't come across as the educated thing to do. You should laugh with people, not at people. Omer Sharif did get a bit too emotional but what he meant does make good sense. Anyways, Shoab Akhtar was a very good cricketer for Pakistan and I being a fan feel a bit disappointed in him. I though I should share my honest opinions with you folks, hoping that many would understand what we feel. As for the cricket at the moment, I think that India has a much better preparation for the world cup and if they keep their focus and playing like this, they have a very good shot at the World Cup. It is a sport that we all enjoy watching and it should bring people together, not drift them apart.All the best. We all love Kapil and enjoy his shows a lot, reminds us of a young Umer Sharif.
