He died while capturing the Hill 4875 when he tried to save a fellow soldier but was hit by a sniper. Keeping aside the differences, his courage and bravery was acknowledged by the Pakistan Armed forces as well. They are the heroes that died because of selfishness of our leaders(Both India and Pakistan). he is still an inspiration for many young lads ready to sacrifice themselves for our safety.
