RD was a master at the art of copying tunes from western pop hits.He did not spare Abba,BoneyM,Rolling Stones,Beetles etc…….his hit song medley zamana tere liye aur tu mere liye(HumKisiSeKamNahin)was copied totally from Abba’s Mama Mia

Despite being Pakistani, I am a little offended with the word “churaya gya”. 😊 There are many tunes that Pakistani musicians also copied from Indian songs. Kishore Kumar was a great singer. Legendary singers of that era from either sides of the border have appreciated, respected and acknowledged each other. If a singer of one side has sung the same song on the other side, it’s ok. The only thing that I was shocked about was the song from Film Khushboo, main jis din bhula doon Tera pyar Dil se, was written by Qateel Shifai and in the Indian film it’s lyricist name was given as someone Bhopali. Atleast the lyricist name should not have been changed. That’s plagiarism.

"चुराया" शब्द अनुचित है, इसकी जगह "रिवर्जन" शब्द इस्तेमाल करना सही है, क्योकि सब मिलकर गीत, संगीत और गायकी की सेवा ही कर रहे हैं, हां उस रचना में मूल रचनाकार को क्रेडिट जरूर देना चाहिए। रही बात किशोर कुमार की तो मूल गाने से कहीं ज्यादा उनके गाये हुए वर्जन पसंद किये गये भारत और पाकिस्तान दोनों ही जगह।

wo Nadeem Shravan ne kiya tha. itna bura nahi tha. kafi badlav kiya tha. baad mein fir se copy 'sadak' film mein kiya. jo mashoor hai aur badnaam hai gaana.

Qurbaani movie ka song hi copied lagta hai 1978 me aayi indian movie Main tulsi tere aangan ki ke title song se...

No doubt Kishore Kumar was a legend in his own rights but somehow he messed it up when he sang these covers by singing it a little too fast. If you listen to the original sung by Mehdi Hassan or Akhlaq Ahmed they sang it with comfort and made the song feel perfect whereas the version sung by Kishore Kumar seemed to hurried up like he was not too eager singing a cover.

Kishore is my favourite but except the song of Ghulam Abbas, Kishore was unable to create the magic of Ikhlaq Ahmed etc.

@@Deira854 Yes dear friend (perhaps from accross the border) I agree with you in essence. Only point I would like to add value: Indian film industry owing to its vast geographical territory has overwhelming marketing edge over that of Pakistan. Pakistan erstwhile film industry aka Lollywood would compete with Bollywood with all its intrinsic limitations and constraints. And was by and large looked down upon inferior to your Bollywood. If genius and gem of the artists like RDB and Kishore ji imiitated even a few Pakistani pieces of artistic works, it means Pakistani overall talent was not essentially that much inferior owing to their working with imaterial insurountable restraints and limitations. The picture on the side was black BUT WAS NOT THAT BLACK.

@@qasimarif21 Yes Rajesh Khanna took official permission to remake the movie because he liked the Pakistani movie. Also Pakistan doesn't lack talent, but the problem is lack of education, Indians have 4 times more education, education is linked with creating better art. In India for example, Bengal has produced the most talent of all kinds, because they are the most educated people of India

Late Kishore ji in his singing career sang, say 5 k original songs vs. Only 5 Pakistani 'inspirational songs' but automatically it went to the credit of Pakistan: on the occasion of Late Kishore ji's demise. Indian media did quote not his any original song but his Pakistani re-rendered song GILA MAUT SE NAHIN HAI, MUJHE ZINDAGI NE MARA. This instance speak volumes that overall Pakistani artistic talent was not / is not that inferior as to call it rubbish vis-a-vis that of Bollywood. My best regards From Karachi Pakistan.

It's all about dictat of Producer/Director of films who force music director to do the tunes of any particular song..This is no new, there are many such instances, not only Pakistani song tunes but so many songs of around the world.. Distasteful video, the anchor does not understand the who is the culprit, he indicts only music composer and singer whereas he forgot that how film producers/directors call shots.... Music director had no choice except to follow...
