Those days people in our country wasn’t that into western songs and whoever knew wasn’t able to expose cause these people were too powerful and threatening. Most of these people also use to travel to different countries and get ideas for new compositions. Thoughts friend?

Its not about supporting RR. When said about plagiarism, then ek pal ka jeena is not plagiarized. And wht she will get by advocating RR. Half of the bollywood music directors relied on world music for their bread butter. Its just that we not listening to world music and them studying world music like anything and traveling the world and using it here.

India only got AR Rehman who gave India with Original sound tracks and compositions from 90's till his last musical directorial....(except Chaiya Chaiya for Dil Se moive as this tune was inspired and replicated from the original songs of Abida Perveen the legendary Sufii/mystic and semi classical composor cum singer of Pakistan) Abida Parveen (her song which AR Rehman Replicated was Terey Ishq Nachaya Ker k Thiya Thiya)

The original video songs of Neil Sedaka's O Carol and Shirley Temple's Polly Wolly Doodle are very old but lifts mood every time I watch and hear it. Thanks for this information.
