Well, one shouldn't forget there were the Oslo and Madrid accords...what came out of them??.. nothing. The situation is clear Israel has the power to do what it wants regardless if its recognised or not. The benefit of recognition of Israel has no benefit for Palestinians, but it has financial and geopolitical benefits for the country recognising it. So it's a question of principle ,of solidarity with the Palestinian people or following one's own benefit. It's very interesting that Ghamdi Sahab, who talks of principles on many issues, is overlooking this. Actually, Azaz Syed should have discussed this contradiction more. One can see that Azaz Syed is a reporter who might be good at getting out some information/news but lacks intellectual depth as a good interviewer. It can be seen that the entire interview(not just this one topic) was conducted in a childish manner

In my opinion interview was over all good. However it was in haste, means that questions were good but needed lot more elaboration in discussion. Which I think can be only possible in a series of programs on each issue highlighted in the talk. Aizaz Syed is an interrogative kind of journalist so he did his job with straight forward strategy. Though I agree title do not justify the talk.

I respect aizaz syed’s journalistic abilities but this was a poorly conducted show. Perhaps due to the intellectual gap between the two personalities aizaz looked too ordinary. Lots of important Qs remained unasked. I was looking fir much more valueable input from ghamidi sb on current political situation but the Qs were way too shallow. No offence to Mr Aizaz Syed. He is a good journalist.

There's nothing new in this talk. The anchor overlooked and ignored the basic premise Ghamdi Sahab opened the argument with. Instead the interview was turned into the typical headline seeking program and the title, though not incorrect, is misleading as it doesn't provide enough context about why Ghamdi is pro recognizing Israel. It's a click bait. Overall a futile interview, this could have been a more productive conversation where the anchor digs deeper and get Ghamdi to elaborate on what he has already said repeatedly.

I fund this a very good interview, where a religious , enlightened scholar who is also aware of world view and has a forward outlook is answereing very relavent questions on Pakistans current political situation. I think. both did enlightened me. I commend Khamdi sahib. He is very knowledgeable, his views are moderate and logical. I wish Pakistani nation can gain some wisdom from it to at least know reality and some direction in their thinking.

Aizaz sahib, respectful way to conduct an interview is to let the guest finish. It feels like you are trying to take conversation in certain direction and make Ghamidi saheb say things that you want to listen. That works in Pakistan, but please don't try it here. Be little respectful of a great scholar and don't spread your negativity. You could not get endorsment for IK and then could not make him condemn army chief.

غامدی صاحب کی ایک دو باتوں سے اختلاف ھو سکتا ھے۔ سب سے اہم بات کہ انہوں نے نوجوان نسل کو قرآن کو ترجمہ سے پڑھنے اور سمجھنے کی طرف ڈالا۔ ورنہ تو مولانا طارق جمیل اور ان کے جیسے ملاؤں کے سپرد ہماری دو نسلوں کو اسلام سے ہی دور کر دیا گیا۔

Mr. Jawed Ghamdi regarding recognition of Israeli estate your idea sounds good and it is absolutely the main hindrance in development of Pakistan or you may say the Islamic world. Israel is a reality and we have to admit it but at the same time Palestine is also a reality and if Israel is assured about its protection and existence plus it's recognition, similarly Israel have to accept the reality of Palestine and Palestinean people then we may expect peace in the region.

​@talkshock1210 Well interview lacked depth like the issue of recognition of Israel.. Well, one shouldn't forget there were the Oslo and Madrid accords...what came out of them??.. nothing. The situation is clear Israel has the power to do what it wants regardless if its recognised or not. The benefit of recognition of Israel has no benefit for Palestinians, but it has financial and geopolitical benefits for the country recognising it. So it's a question of principle ,of solidarity with the Palestinian people or following one's own benefit. It's very interesting that Ghamdi Sahab, who talks of principles on many issues, is overlooking this. Actually, Azaz Syed should have discussed this contradiction more. One can see that Azaz Syed is a reporter who might be good at getting out some information/news but lacks intellectual depth as a good interviewer. It can be seen that the entire interview(not just this one topic) was conducted in a childish manner

Many like me admire Ghamidi Sb for his non traditional understanding of Islam and then he elaborately presents the same to common man. Besides he is a genuine human who does not hide truth . I recall his kind views about iconic Bacha khan that he saw in company of Maududi Sb. My profound regards to both the gentlemen.

Whether you agree with Ghamidi Sb. or not, you can always appreciate his calm demeanor and clarity of thought. I wish more of our "learned" leaders would articulate their thought like this.

اعزاز سید سطحی عقل و شعور رکھتا ہے اور بغض عمران میں بھرا بیٹھا غامدی صاحب سے بھی اپنی سوچ پر مہر تصدیق ثبت کروانا چاہتا ہے اور غامدی صاحب جیسے صاحب فراست سے بات چیت کیلئے کسی پڑھے لکھے شخص کو انٹرویو کرنا چاہیے تھا

جب تک نظام عدالت انصاف صحیح کام نہیں کررہی ہوں کوئی بھی نظام ہو مذہبی یا قومی ملک نہیں چل سکتی ہے۔

Whatever, Mr. Ghamdi is saying it is absolutely correct that we have to look into our inner to come out, with a rethinking.

We, as viewers, must be careful by such journalists (Aizaz) who promote non-believers and bring them on the screen. Simply unfollow his channel, which I am also going to do.

I do not think Ghamdi saheb is a non believer but his dilution and promotion of liberalism and others culture in the name of democracy in Islam is worrisome and creates doubts about the purity of his thoughts and mission.

سیاسی اقدار جو خامدی صاب نے بیان کیے جن میں جمہوری طرز حکومت، قانون کی حکمرانی، قوموں کی حق خودارادیت اور انسانی حقوق۔ اگر پاکستان اس راستے پر چلنے پر کامیاب ہو جائے تو ملک کا مستقبل روشن ہو سکتا ہے اگر نہیں تو پهر اس ملک کے باقی رہنے کا بهی کوئی امکان نہیں ہے۔

absurd views --- and quite alarming how aizaz saeed keeps repeatedly asking whether pakistan will break up ! democracy is a system of an industrial and business based society ---- and the country is well on the way towards such political developments . the country is going through a transition from an establishment run country ( controlled and directed by western powers , to slowly being run by civilian political parties representing the new classes !

Transition period doesn't take 75 long years. This country has always been in the hands of establishment and the so called religious pandit. They will never let the power slip away from their hands and moreover Muslims are fanatics and extremists and will go to any length without a rational approach. Pakistan will never change as long as these two power's interference is there.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you.

Looks like Aizaz does not listen to Javed Ghamidi. Majority of the questions were against ) the standards of Javed Ghamidi. He does not talk about political entities.

انڈیا والی بات سے اتفاق نہیں. ان سے کسی قسم کا کوئی تعلق نہیں ہونا چاہئے. باقی غامدی ساب کی بات سے سو فیصد اتفاق کہ ہماری ملٹری نے کشمیر کاز کو بہت نقصان پہنچایا ہے.
