Pakistan’s iCube-Qamar Beams Back First Images From Moon’s Orbit | Dawn News English

Pakistan's iCube-Qamar, the country's first lunar satellite, has transmitted its inaugural images from the lunar orbit. Launched as part of China's Chang'e-6 mission, the satellite entered the moon's orbit successfully on May 8th.
Developed by Islamabad's Institute of Space Technology in collaboration with China's Shanghai University and Pakistan's national space agency Suparco, the iCube-Q orbiter features two optical cameras to capture lunar surface images. Operating in extreme temperatures, it aims to provide crucial data on crater locations, water, and traces of ice on the moon's surface.

They don't send him to take pictures that you can use as wallpaper. The main purpose of this mission is to collect data on the moon's surface, and this is done with the help of sensors.

@@rajalapli3637wtf..chandrayan 1 moon orbiter in 2008: successful Chandrayaan2 moon orbiter in 2019: successful (it's orbiting moon at a height of 100km above moon surface at the moment, which much closer than Pakistan's tiffin ox satellite) Chandrayan 2 lander 2019: crash landed with partial success Chandrayan 3 2023: India became the first country to successfully land in moons South pole , a huge success Meanwhile pakistan on 2024 sent a tiffin box sized satellite to moon in Chinese rocket from Chinese soil controlled by Chinese scientists...even the picture from the satellite was given to Pak by china
