Alhamdulila Pakistan is the only country about which is famously said “Countries have armies but Pakistan Army has country just for themselves”. It’s not only a state above state, but rather a deep state with absolutely no accountability. It is in their interest to keep Pakistan as Security state and keep the phobia of imminent threat so that the big powerful army can be justified by hook or crook.

All countries have an army. Pak army has a country.

You have not told that army pension is distributed from public budget not from defense budget.

Pakistan Military has ruled 40 years directly and 35 years indirectly on Pakistan. Still they are rulers of Pakistan. They have total immunity for whatever they want to do. Chowkidars are much more powerful and resourceful than the owners [people] .

Well i am native from abbottabad and yes i can say year by year more land is taken by army , we even make joke and say one day whole abbottabad will be for army and we will have some houses left

There are still many businesses that are not included in the list given in this video. But this was a detailed video. Anways, everyone is afraid to openly acknowledge that our Military is out of the line now and few of the military personnel are making profits and even after retirement, they are given huge sum of money and land which is not given to any other Govt officer. Even after retirement, many are offered jobs that are at higher level. Looking at this trend, I am concerned about Pakistan Future. Akhir yh mulk kaun tek kary ga.

You missed a very important point that premium Space Agency of Pakistan (SUPARCO) was forcefully taken over by Army during Musharraf's time. It has a budget of more than 20 Million US Dollars per year. But They are failed to even build one space launch vehicle(SLV) so far. Only "Major Generals and above" are allowed to become its administrator and Civilian Scientists are forced to work under Military Officers. That is why Pakistan's performance in Space race is pathetic and no one can question anything. But ISRO (India's space agency) is moving forward with full force as they uphold merit. Our own Army has destroyed our Space program and we cannot even dare to question these Generals.

What benefits do we get by merging them into India except religious fundamentalism, terrorism, insurgencies and complete destruction of the internal peace. Why do you think we must share the resources with those people who hate us based on our religion and beliefs to the core. All our energies and time will be wasted for security issues and all the soft power India gained through these many years will be evaporated in few days by adding them up for the anti-social and crime activities they're indulged into in foreign countries. Moreover, Pakistan serves as an insulator or buffer state between India and Afghan taliban who are far more hardcore terrorists and by merging Pakistan, we will be directly exposed to the instabilities of those muslim countries on our Western border.

One day i had a chat with one of the relatives working at Diamer basha Dam, he told me that not only contract was awarded to FWO(due to security reasons) in addition to it they hired tons of military personnel for security(security of security personal,lol!) but wait here comes interesting even more interesting part, in addition to all military, ISI and intelligence agencies are also hired(yes people's money is being wasted over their salaries) and after some time one to more blast occasionally happens in the vicinity by some Talibans, which not only stalls Chinese work there but also costs millions in damaged and recompensation to government which validates the military presence there(along with there salaries of course). This vicious cycle of terror and army deployment continues....!
