It's actually stupid not fearless..it takes one slight misjudgment to a life threatening injury..we know now better after the Phil Hughes tragedy..I remember Imran Nazir once got pinged right on his head by a bouncer nor wearing a helmet..luckily he recovered..It might look brave but only when tragedy hits you realize what overconfidence does to you

I actually watched this game live on TV when I was 6 or 7 years old! Pakistan were 0-1, 0-2, 0-3 and 9-4 due to some beautiful bowling by Pollock early on. Then Inzamam and Moin Khan put on that amazing partnership.

Inzamam always score against high quality fast bowling..he scored hundred in WI when Ambrose and Walsh ran through the top order..

Inzamam playing Alan Donald in his prime without a helmet, and pulling a bouncer with a soft cap on. Crazy.

This match is actually my very first memory of watching cricket. I was 5 years old and I could hear my dad, uncles and cousin bemoaning how useless our batting is. I think we were 3 down for 0 runs.

Azhar Mehmood at the end had to play a blinder to keep Pak interested but still Pak went down with 9 runs.

Remember this match, I listened till 20-30 runs and left. In the morning in school my friend told me that we lost by 9 runs only. Azhar, Moin and Inzi made fifties

I remember in that match what a drama First over of the Pakistan inning bowled by Shaun Pollock W . . W W . Saeed Anwar c Hudson b Pollock , Amir Sohail lbw Pollock and then Ijaz Ahmed lbw Pollock. Pakistan losses all the hopes but Moin Khan & Inzamam ul Haq play a reasonable inning for his team.
