Nice job. I love how you do this on the cheap. You get things done like a normal guy. No fancy shops or tools, just nice and simple. It's amazing how much difference a few cans of paint can make, looks great!

Cool. I bought a 1998 Craftsman Mower for $100, that needed a lot of work. I'm almost there, just a few more things to get straightened out (still two more tires that wont hold air and the steering is a bit wonky), then it will be some beautification mods. This video is giving me some good ideas.

Those look like the old tires they used to call wooly boogers you put on the craftsman. It looked like they cleaned out really well at low speed in the mud👍

Wooly Boogers are what I call them too. The have the name "Stryker" on the side, maybe "Wooly Booger" does not belong to Carlisle. I love them so far and am thinking of doing a pulley swap to get a little more tire spin. Thanks for watching.

Looking good and like your tie rod fix. Keep your eyes out for used 12" razor tires. A lot of razor owners go from 12" to 14" wheels. They are usually 26" tall. I scored a set of four wheels and tires for 200. Tires went on my Massey and the wheels became jackstand bases.

I’m really enjoying your videos and love that you actually explain how things come apart and go together and work but I don’t understand why running through the water is needed. I’ve been given a Deere D100 something that I want to make a farm off-road machine out of. Haven’t picked it up yet. Use it instead of buying an$$$ atv to pull equipment and trailers around. Also wander through 22 acres of woods. Have you had to upgrade drive belts given the oversized wheels and higher speeds?

No you were already fixed it I should’ve finished watching the video before I open my mouth, been working on my lawnmower I can’t put a bigger pulley on the front because it’ll hit my Idler pulley. And I can’t put a smaller sprocket on the back because my belt would hit my shifter my shift goes from left to right it’s between my legs on the floorboard, and I can’t use a taller tire it’ll hit my deck. So I’m stuck with the lawnmower that those 6 miles an hour ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
