Painting Tamiya Sand Scorcher Body with custom colors

Ойын-сауық

#tamiya #sandscorcher #rc #paint #body
I apply custom colors for this Sand Scorcher and got inspired by modern rally theme color. The spray paints I used is not Tamiya brand and I will not encourage people to follow to use it. I just did this for experimental purpose only.
Please also watch the assembly video: • Building Tamiya Sand S...
The primer is a transparent primer and it's different from Tamiya one.
During the paint session, I experienced some paint chip and I fixed it using enamel and acrylic paint of Tamiya brand.

great job and good colours . Do long strokes from front to back and from side to side try to stay the same distance all the time through the stroke and try not to stab the spray nozzle that way you will get a nice even paint job and less work on the long run

Nicely done! Just to let you know, the real bug's taillights have the turn signal (amber) on top, not bottom.

Came out looking sweet. Basically use the same techniques and products. Not sure which you use but I use a plastic primer to start . Wasn't sure if you used regular or plastic primer first .

@@rcbudgetmeal5712 cool. I use it on most of my projects. I did a lot of custom Star wars helmets before I got back into rc . All done the same way as yourself. Picked up my first vintage sand scorcher recently. Doing mine orange with white side inserts ( doors but not wings ) . Kinda cal look style
