You just add water and let it sit so the paint can get softer, then mix, and if it needs more you just add a bit more till you get the right viscosity

OMG! Same! or that I need refill a missing color that has been gone for awhile.

You know you're a badass who just pulled an epic power move when you break out the sketchbook and paint a technical drawing completely free hand. As an artist, I know this ability comes from raw talent, but was also refined with hours of hard work and dedication. I can't even express the level of joy this makes me feel at seeing this.

I love these types of videos that draw the ghibli foods, these look so semi realistic and the colors really pop! Great work!🧡🧡🧡

I don't know what it is, but it's a comforting picture. It's a video where you can imagine yourself cooking while drawing what you want to eat. It's a video that makes you think a lot. I kinda relate to this video because I have also watched some studio ghibli movies and I can say that whenever I watch their movies I get so attracted from the scenery, foods and every detail of the animation like it's a total masterpiece and I just love all the vibrant colors in their movies. I also love how you painted the studio ghibli foods, like it was totaly magnificent and I really love all your paintings.

I have watched Gouache go from almost a dead medium in the public eye to being able to find it anywhere. I think that's great! I feel a little angry at the professors I had that inadvertently made me hate this medium. They made it seem so limiting instead of having us understand and explore the strengths of it. I ended up going into Oil Paints because of it. XD Now I do mostly digital but physical art still really soothes the soul you know?

I never realized you can sketch with paint! I really like watercolors so I'll have to try this.

Im curious to know why it is that you never sketch with pencil, or ever rarely do sketches at all. It's such an impressive skill to be able to paint in perspective just straight from your mind. I wish more people painted this way, I can't express it enough

It’s a preference ! I prefer my art to have a more organic look with loose outlines, kinda resembles the impressionism art style. Starting with a pencil sketch might bring a total different outcome, and I often felt restrained while filling in the colours because I would be too worried to mess up the line work 😅

What kind of paper do you use? I’ve been using cold-press watercolor paper for my gouache but this looks a lot better.

I tried drawing the egg and bacon with calcifier but in polaroid style. I'm happy with whatever result came hehhe
