@@thecolorscapeI thank you for sharing. I am currently painting a landscape, and I'm trying to bump realism up a notch. I like your concept of blocking-in the *entire* canvas, and then putting in the details by using both lighter and darker tones of colour. I used to block-in things and then paint the details right away, part after part (one by one). That's how I painted my last painting too, which I uploaded on my channel. Please have a look.
