Dr. Faust, are you still using pledge as your thinner? If so what kind if different?

I only use Pledge as a base for decals. Normally I use plain water for thinning.
Not sure if I just missed it but I watched both videos a few times, particularly this one since its the first and skin tone I was most interested in. But when you just started painting the model was already primed but I didn't hear you say what type and color. It appeared to me for the brief time that it was shown that you did some zenith pre-highlighting with a grey or white? Could you touch on that real quick, I'm sure you do the same in all your videos and have mentioned it a bunch but I am new to the channel and was just wondering. Thanks!

It is Badger primer with white over black. Just to get the black in the recesses and white so it's easier to see in the video.

Doesn't the paint dry in your tile? Or do you use some retardant on it? I mostly use wet pallet, but when I want to quickly fix a figure I use a tile, and it dries in a couple of minutes... Nice figure, I am looking forward part 2.

I just add water when needed. Allows more control of the paint.

Nice paint job ( saw the finished project ) but that lack of a wet palette was really disappointing to see.

Not a fan of the new format, it causes videos like this where almost nothing is said. What would have been 3 minutes of a normal video is stretched out to 12 here. Would it work better to just include the techniques in the title rather than splitting the videos? So Nurgle dude - Skin type, hair type, rusted cleaved, Americana shirt etc? I believe you can also apply hashtags to videos now as well, which would give you a lot of back videos you could update to be searchable.

Some wanted longer visual examples of techniques like layering and less talking, so I made one video showing that. I don't make 30+ minutes videos anymore because most don't watch till the end or just skip it because it's too long. For this one you get the skin in part one and everything else in part two.
