Question, why do you count the stitches out versus tracing the image using the template as an underlay for the canvas? I’m new to this hobby. I’ve seen people tracing and counting-is it just personal preference or is there a science behind your method?

You said you used the needlepointer to work out your chart. Is that the name? If not, could you name it? I’m trying to figure out a program to use.

What is the purpose of the matte medium? And what type of acrylic paint are you using? Matte, semigloss?

What is the software you use?
