Painting MDF terrain without adding extra bits

Ойын-сауық

So this week I am focusing on this weird little mdf bunker but I don't feel like adding to many extra bits so let's see what we can do with just flat paint and see if we can get some extra depth and look to this "flat" little thing

MDF tends to be exceedingly thirsty stuff. I've not done a lot of work with it for a while now, but i have found that sealing it with some Mod Podge or PVA makes it less likely to fight you with primer coverage. Even just a starter coat of gesso can be helpful, but given your methods here, im not sure how toothy you really want to get with your surfaces. That said, i really cant argue with the results. Excellent stuff.

Fair points well made. It is truly a thirsty surface

As was I. That's why I was trying it and biting my nails the entire time
