Hey Brian, I want to take a moment tell you that you are the reason I found my deep passion for piano. I started listening to your music when I was nine and I dreamed of playing your songs. I took up classes at ten years old, and moved to being classically trained four years later. Eventually however, I lost sight of my goals and closed the key lid without opening it again. I patiently waited 5 years, checking in on you every few weeks to see when you would release a new song, one that I hadn’t learned yet, one that could give me a reason to play again. Well here I am today, sitting in front of your music laid on a Kawai Grand (my dream piano) while playing fragments of old songs and many new ones for the hundreds that walk by at my university. So much has changed in these five years and I feel like I’ve come full circle back to where I’ve always wanted to be again. Thank you
