I really enjoyed watching this - there was more push and pull with how Tiffanie was painting than how I had approached things, softening back then re-defining, giving a real variety in edges - I have some more illustration board cut, so I think I’ll do some more, take a deep breath and slow down!

Great video, so many helpful tips from a clearly very experienced and knowledgable artist. I don't know how others feel, but I find it really difficult to concentrate on what the artist is saying because of the music in the background.

I'm doing something similar with oils and Arches oil paper. You can cut a 22x30 sheet down to 4.5x5.5 squares. My colors are Winsor & Newton alizarin crimson, French ultramarine, cadmium lemon, raw umber, and a big tube of titanium white.

Bery nice colors but at the beginning you were saying that we could have every colors with primaries but.. you didnt took cyan (nor magenta) so your greens arent realy green, they are more like what I call fake greens (olive, I call it fake when there realy aren't any blue at all, yellow with black). So just this little corrections but limited palettes are great ! Precise at the beginning that you "cut out the green.." I actually do even more limited, no blue at all, grey as blue, grey and yellow for green, grey and magenta for purple. I use (acrylic): White Black Magenta Red Yellow I try to make people see blue without using it at all like color illusion where you have like a color filter and you are sure to see a deep blue where in fact its pure grey (just white and black). Very difficult exercice, but I have to continue because I want to be able to create an illusion of EVERY COLOR like "can you make me see a pure grey as this "deep greenish turquoise" Oh yeah of course, give me a weak and I make the paint with the right colors.. At the era where every think is called a challenge I bring you guys (and girls, of course) this VERY HARD and VERY INTERSTING challenge.
