@@mattoast7325 I don't know man, I've painted fascia & soffits with a brush and roller and I choose to spray every time. its actually waaay faster, and the finish looks better. the only part that takes longer is cleaning the spray rig...

Excellent job, Harold Now I'll need you to go back and touch up all the overspray you got on the facia board.

1. He painted the facia board 2. You must mean eves/soffits. Maybe he is painting them after and cause its black to mich paint will cause it to not cover. 3. Dont act like you know what you talking about

We only get paid to paint it once, what do you mean "touch-up?"

That’s beauty right there. I really wanna get into this trade but first I gotta get better. So far I have almost 3 years of experience painting/repainting boats. Any advice on how to eventually get to your field? I really want to get started on painting home interiors.

It's really not that hard! If you have "3 years of experience" you should be able to paint anything, just learn each application. Painting exterior and interior is no different other than what type of paint you use. It doesn't take 20 years to be good or at this man's level. You need to stick to proper prep work, masking, ect. Use the right the right paint for interiors or exteriors. Honestly if you got the basics down, the right paint applications are what's more of a challenge.

Can you share what product you typically use for gutters and what prep is needed?

Thoughts on using a bonding primer before painting gutters, even if gutters are painted and in good condition? Trying to figure out what my standard procedure should be to ensure a quality end product

@@run_dempc2458 No, brushing gutters takes forever. I'm not a fan of spraying, but this looks like it would save a ton of time by spraying.

Works fine on a windy day just use the right tip and adjust sprayer accordingly.

Fail to see what the cardboard on the back does. Nice job otherwise.

Why not make some kind of attachment to add the one piece of cardboard on top of the same stick you're using so it's just a top and bottom guard and not have to lay all those pieces around the whole tops of gutters

@@Idahopainter I noticed no clean shot. Did you adjust the pressure for that length of extension since you were starting and ending on the gutter. Thinking of getting one but there expensive. Thanks Chris. I can tell it's you by your gloves. Lol

Looks real quick to do on a first story gutter system, but imagine it would very difficult and unsafe on a second story house - no way to keep 3 points of contact on the ladder. I've always been against spraying, but the time savings appear to be incredible.

Paint trim and overspray to the facia, paint facia and overspray to the trim. He’s gonna retire from that job and still won’t be finished with it.

I bet they have black metal roofing too, I'd hate to see their cooling bill
