I loved this! I do these little figures just for fun and they seem to tell me a story...each different and it's like they invent themselves and their personality as I go!

This clearly lends itself well to watercolour- I am moving into acrylics for some impressionist works...I wonder if watering down my paint a bit would allow for a similar effect? One way to find out- I'll give it a shot. Thank you for the excellent video.

Figure at 1:25 is likely Michael Jackson lol . I like the “tight pants” song at 6:05 too! At least that’s what I know it as. The 90s keyboard loops are the best! Seriously! Cool video!

O.K But no reference to the vital importance of ratio of paint to water, or the choice of size of brush! Once again a sort of conjuring trick. The public need to KNOW the importance of this to learn. However good well done.

Hi, thank you for your message. Yes you are right it is speeded up. The idea was not for you to follow the brushstrokes on these tiny figures, but to show how easy it is and for you to develop your own brushstrokes... Bill

Yes maybe, but the same shapes can be applied in any medium (watercolour,oil,pastel,ink etc) so I hope it’s not completely inappropriate. Bill
