Good morning Pam and everyone! I am sooo tired today and mostly because I have built my space to create at, desk, shelves, bought a ton of supplies etc and I have been sooo exited and I can´t wait to start making something. ❤🙌 I have just tested some things so far, getting to know things, made a tag and som clusters etc and started rumbling around in the paperwaste baskets when I see my kids have thrown away something nice (🤣 the face they made when they caught me) . I am severally ill so I only have a few minutes at times and I easily overdo it and pay for it like now, BUT now I can lay down and just enjoy watching you Pam create and I create in my mind and write down things and ideas I want o try on my better moments. ❤ My list is ever growing. Hugs to Snuffers ❤ I am here snuggling my kitties ❤

Thank you, so sweet of you to answer me @@JustMeValerie6 and sending me a prayer❤ Yes, oh, I have gotten some funny looks lately from my family 😂. Unfortunately I have severe ME so I am chronically ill with very little chance of improvement, and even fun things take energy, BUT I believe my soul and mind and heart will feel soooo much better putting some of my little energy on paper fun and crafts and not all those duties in a home. Some energy will be put on junkjournaling and coloring etc from now on. My kids are not small, the youngest just became 18. I just have to find my balance so I don´t get post excertional malaise. I am so much happier now so it is definatly giving me a lot. I am mostly bedbound so I can actually do some crafts in my bed with laptoptables etc ❤😃 Loving it!

I'm an artist and I have a bad habit of leaving acrylic paint on my paint brushes. I have found that if you mix equal parts hand sanitizer with Dawn dish soap and swirl the brushes around for a few minutes and then let them soak in the mixture overnight it comes off.

Yay for painting! 😀It's actually fine to get the entire brush *wet*, but you don't want to leave it sitting in the water, that's when it soaks up so much water that the wood expands, which loosens the ferrule (the part that holds the hairs on) and then when it shrinks as it dries the ferrule falls off. So dunk in the water as much as you need, but then take it out and put it on the towel and all will be well. 😊

I have a challenge for you, Pam. Two years ago, in the video called "Easy Tips to Paint Flowers in Junk Journals!:) Beginner Tutorial for a Non-Artist", you said you needed to work on the "cuteness factor". I would LOVE to see you do that. I love all that you do and on a down day for me, I just listen to you and find myself laughing and happy. I want to see you do "cute" however. You are so good at being spontaneous and working with what gets thrown at you that day, whether it be a breeze or something falling onto the table. I think it would be fun and your comments would be outrageous if you were to do some cute projects on purpose. Just a thought. I love everything that you do.

Hi Pam, great ideas as usual. It generally wouldn't be recommended to use expensive watercolour brushes with acrylic, however most brushes are a bit more resilient than you suggest and it is possible to clean them when dry just soaking them up past the ferrule the band that connects bristles to handles is not recommended. Also if you are not finished with a brush wrapping the bristles with some cling wrap prevents it from drying as quickly. I would love to get one of your fundles but I understand its too expensive to send them to Australia!

BTW I love the flower designs on the book pages. I just bought paints and I’ll have a go at creating them with wreckless abandon. X

I am not sure but the brush you like is a "mop" brush. Has the nice point for detail. Maybe that's the slang..lol😊

Could you have used a small paint brush to bloom the black pencil instead of the Q-tip?

Im not talented in freehand art, so would this flower painting project work by lightly tracing flowers onto the book page using carbon paper or tracing paper as a guide then paint them? Bird of Paradise maybe? 😊

You could also stamp a flower (or anything really) using archival ink pad, then fill in the color with watercolors. 😊

Loved your flowers, you make it look so easy 👩‍🎨 ~ I went to the Amazon store to purchase the aquareliable pencil, but I’m not seeing it in your shop, maybe I’m not looking in the right place?
