lmbo "Is that a bird poop?" I'm dying. 😂
You really uplift me. I laughed when you said - where's the paper in this place. Life with you must be so interesting. Keep crafting.
Hi Pam! I love the wood pieces in your wood drawer! I must copy that ASAP! I made a journal for my 90 year old dad. I put lots of memorabilia from his military years and other interest he has had. I bought post cards from eBay featuring his home town and drew a couple of pictures for him. He called me right away and said how much he loves it❤️ I had so much fun making it. Thanks for all your inspiration along the way. On to another journal🤗
Hi Pam! Love you Love you Love you! I'd like to see new merch with another favorite phrase you use: "You've got options!". Maybe with a few images of your fav supplies like rubber stamps, a stickles bottle, glue stick, whatever. Ooo... and maybe an outline drawing of Sunny sitting next to it all!Anybody else with me?

Love to see Sunny on a sweatshirt next to a journal as a pic! Great.idea!!!
Morning, just so u know, popsicle sticks and tongue depressors are easy to cut with a nice pair of dollar tree scissors.
Perfect inspiration for today. I have some cute laser cut wooden owls that I found at the dollar store!
Idea! Maybe (maybe) outlining with a Stabillo pencil then applying a tiny bit of water would make the butterfly look like it was burned in, cuz when you burn wood with a tool the burned line sorta "bleeds", y'know? Hmmm. If I get out of bed on this Saturday morning I might give it a try. 😴 LOL. Hugs Pam, MK 🤗♥️🏜♥️🤗
😊Good morning Ms. Pam Paper pants! Good morning journal making friends, I have a little bit of wood images and thought these are the biggest waste of money I’ve spent because I just Never reach for them, Thank you for a way to finally use them, also I use a old vintage typewriter that was in the family for years, My Mom dug it out of the basement for me and that’s how I get words for my journals , it works typing on plain material too, I found the ink for it, ordered it on line, it fired right up and it typed away.
Oh what fun. I kept saying put the tops back on the ink pads & then putting the tops back on my own ink pads. Best Saturday morning crafting ever.
The colored butterfly came out beautiful.
Love the wood heart with Blessings and a stamp, so beautiful!

When I mess up badly stickles is a great mask.
Hi Pam - I celebrate your ideas, thank you so much!!!!!! Hugs from Germany ❤
I love your videos, not only do you make my depression and anxiety a bit better. But you give me so much inspiration for my journals, thank you.
Yay!!!...the brown dauber has been found. Happy creative dance! Great wooden ideas... nothing but awesomeness! ❣️ Sunshine, happy to see you and glad to hear you are having fun 😊👍 Stay safe 💖💖
This looks like so much fun. Enjoyed watching and glad Sunny had a good time at camp.
Love watching all your videos. You always have great ideas. You're funny too.! Hugs for Sunny.
Pastel chalks work very nicely on wood. I’ve used wood letters and leaves on my journals. I also like to use decorative paper and decoupage on wood. Fun. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed your videos so much! I especially enjoy it when you make a "mistake" and fix it and it comes out better than the original idea!
I just got back from Thanksgiving with my girls in Arkansas and my daughter gave me a handful of 2 1/2" popsicle sticks and was wondering what in the world I was going to do with them. Thanks for all the ideas, I actually made a name plate for my granddaughter's journal during the video. TFS, Pam!
Bird poop. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 The funniest thing i have heard all day. Thank you for that.
Love the butterfly
The doller tree has many wooden shapes in case anyone is interested
Hello!!!! This looks like soooo much fun!!!!! So nice to see Sunny again! Feels like its been ages!!!!!! Have a grand day!!!!!
Oh Pam, what wonderful ideas - I love them! ❤️ I have a few butterfly, fish and flower shaped wooden pieces that were laser cut that would be perfect for dangles and other embellishments on my journals. Thank you! Take care Pam and Sunny! ❤️ 🤗
Love your fuzz ball creations😂
I don't have much in the wood stuff. Never knew what to do with it!! Now I do. Nice for covers for sure.
What is a jelly basket😂😂😂😂😂? Literally spit out my coffee!!
Hi Pam! I love the wooden pieces idea! My favorite piece is the butterfly!! Thank you for being you!Love to you, Sunshine and Papa!❤
Pam every time I think I have "too much" or alot of stuff, I see your collection and realize I am not even close to "too much" yet. I have something to work towards. I was reading about your 300 year old book. That would be great to see it and get a page.
Oh I love the butterfly stamp I have that as I used to sell stampin up and have an embarrassing amount of them.. Thanks for the inspiration
Dollar Tree has some fun small wooden pieces!
OMG, just yesterday I had come across my tote full of wood cut outs and thought I need to have a play. You have opened up my idea world. Thanks Pam. hugs to Sonny and hey to the fam.

I would love to see you make something with the cow stamps.
Pinkishness. You're so cute!
What a great idea I didnt know the wood took and ink stamps so clearly. I would have thought that the wood fibers would make it bleed. I love wood elements the are so tactile. 🤣 we dont need to get a field guide to color it.
Hello Pam & Sunshine, I enjoyed your wooden embellishment play so cute. It was so cute to see Sunshine's eyes pop open when you said the P word, my cats go nuts for the E word, eat of course. TFS
Pam, maybe you could decoupage the Popsicle sticks and use them for a bookmark, or as a frame on front of journals? That might work if you don’t want to have to cut them. 😂 Now I want to try and see if it works.😊❤

Good idea! Though I'd imagine that the sticks might be too thick for bookmarks
Good mornin' Pam. I love wood pieces! And yes, I have some. I've tried inking them too. It works but seems to take a lot of ink. Paint, markers etc work too. I'll add more after I finish watching the video. 😁 The small ones glued to a ribbon as a spine dangle...I have to dig through my wooden pieces to see if I have any tiny ones. Thanks for the inspiration! Regards to the menagerie and Papa too. Hope you all have a great day. 🌞
Good morning Pam! So much fun! I’ve used my crop a dile big bite to punch holes in popsicle sticks. Worked like a charm :) Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks for another great idea, Pam. I do have large wooden puzzle pieces that’s been in my stash forever, now I know what to do with them😄 My project this week was altering a 2023 diary - keeping the diary parts and personalizing it as a journal. Using scraps of paper, fabric and lace. Grunging up the edges and having fun😍

That's a fantastic idea!
Hi Sunny! You are so adorable! I am sure you were the most popular pup there. Glad you made some friends and didn’t eat anyone 🐩 🦴 I can’t wait to YOUR junk journal- I bet your Mom made you the BEST ever. Tell her I said Hi & happy crafting too!!
I bet they would be pretty too with decorative napkins decoupage on as the background and then add a word.
Great video as always! "Wooden" you know- I was watching while eating lunch & almost choked from laughing at your asking the bird if it had made a mess on the wood. Love how you just throw out suggestions and go with them so we learn as you do.
I LOvE wood work ! I’ve made pallet barn doors for my master bath and closet, and a coffee table. Watercolor paint would be fabulous too! I’m sure you’ve already thought of that. I’m working on the cover of a Stranger Things journal and I’m a lil stuck 😩
That's funny! I was actually curling my toes!
Thank you Pam. Now I know what to do with the holiday wood shapes I have.
Thanks for sharing and seeing your companion 😊
What a fun ideas. Anything possible to a junk journalist. Thanks for sharing.
You know, I was just thinking, what about using paper napkins? Oh my. I think I need to play.
Mornin' Pam. Little elements like these can come in handy when ya need just a little something. They can also be added to a cluster. I have recently discovered using onion skins to dye papers...LOVE the color it makes! Very much like a vintage "yellowed" page. I think I like it better than coffee dyed paper. 😊 Regards to the menagerie and Papa too. Hope you all have a great day. 🌞
Happy Saturday Outposters!! I have a small drawer of wooden embellishments that have been forgotten about until now. Oh lawdy another rabbit hole....😁 Thank you Pam for all your ideas!!💕
Hi Pam! This is a great idea! Love all your wooden shapes ❤
Oh Pam! You’re so entertaining 😊 and I love watching you craft as well 🤭😁❤
Miter shears are efficient and cost effective for cutting small wood pieces like your tongue depressors into tag shapes!
Hello Pam and Sunny 😊 I am so getting out my wood pieces to play today! Thanks for sharing!
Knowing you're NOT going to change the pad on your Brown Ink Dabber! We'll see it next time!!! LOL!
I love using the wooden shapes. I like to emboss them. They do bulk your jjs a bit but mine are always chunky anyway 😊.
Beginning a junk journal. Cutting off popcycle sticks? I use mitre shears, much easier than dragging out a big saw. Very handy shears. Home Depot or Lowes has them.
You can cut popsicle stick with scissors, then use an emary board or sanding block to smooth the ends.
Great ideas. 🐞
I recently bought Spring shapes at Hobby Lobby. I also bought smaller hearts, butterflies and leaves from Dollar Tree. I will try these ideas and thought about permanent markers too.
Hi Pam, I have a wooden drawer as well, it is Not as neat as yours Lol 😂 great projects! thanks so much dear Pam for sharing such awesome videos! Take care, have a blessed rest of your day. ❤️🤗🙏 Hugs
Hi Pam & Sunny🤗 Really fun to bring out different elements to craft with and brings me back. I'm working on several things at once, can't seem to narrow things down when I have squirrel brain. Thanks for sharing, hope your weekend was fabulous. 💕
I have been studying your videos learning lots. Am ready to start my first junk journal..wish me luck!
I am loving this!! ❤️ they look like cookies!
Pam, I 💕 this video! You are absolutely right about it being fun and easy. Time to replenish my supplies I used up what I had. Great video.
Really like the lace and frillies
Hi Pam, somehow I missed this lesson. Glad I came across this video today.
"Do you want to keep playing or turn it off?" Silly Sally! Play on! In answer to what are we working on....I am making a BDay card using so many of you techniques as I was watching you. FUN! And you did not hear me urging you to use Skickles, etc. drops on your butterfly. Hmm. And that's ok! 🤗 Until Monday..... 💗🙂
That dog is so cute
Hi Pam!! I'm so glad you decided to do this video!! I have tons of wood pieces. Now I can use them up!! Thank you!!
Thank you for reminding me that I have a wood burning kit!! Yippee! I am pulling it out to make some cool stuff for the season. Fun, fun! :)
Hey Pam. This is a good idea. I have prestamped wood pieces to color in and use. At the moment I am working on two small ephemera storage books, still gluing the strips on. They will help get my labels and smaller pieces off my sewing table. I think of you and the things you have shared with us most everyday. Prayers and hugs.
I just finished my 4 junk Journal. It was bird theamed as a gift for a bird watcher. i started out with mostly plain paper. I didn't have much... Yes I got some of you bird Digi Kits. I ended SOoooo cute. and I have a lot of bird ephemera left over. I want to show it to everybody before I give it away. I did a couple of wood bird pieces on a spine dangle... I didn't color them... I will do that next time...I love the look you demonstrated today.
I think I have some of these left over from crafting with the kids, I also have popsicle sticks, there’s lots of inspiration here!
Lovin the different colors on the stamps
Such a fun idea for JJ's.
You are so clever. I'm trying to do a journal using magazine photos of models with sarcastic quotes. Still collecting funny oneliner quotes.
Your ideas are so clever. This is a special lesson.
Great ideas! These could be tree ornaments, too!
Mrs Pam… I used My BIG Crop -A-Dial Hole Punch to Make A Hole… added Ribbon to a Wooden Piece… no drill needed!!!
Thanks for the inspiration. Now I can work on my wood pieces!
Good morning Pam!! I was thinking about using wire to make a shape and then heating up the design with a lighter. Then you could brand the piece of wood with your design. I think that would work really neat. I will try it and report back to you. Your butterfly is very beautiful and would look really nice on the front of a journal. SunBun liked very handsome today. Have a great day and continue creating with reckless abandon.

Hobby Lobby, Dollar Tree for sure
Thanks, Pam! I think the black mark under your bird is ink from rocking your stamp. 💜💜💜
Luv this! Thanks Pam!
Great ideas! Just love your creativity. ❤
There are small tools just for dealing with small wood items... things like a mini hand drill, a small saw with a miter box (last I saw, was around $15 for the set with the metal miter box, and the sets using plastic miter boxes were a lil cheaper)... you can also use a utility knife - box-cutter style as it is usually stronger than x-acto style - to carefully cut and trim popsicle sticks, etc. Do it in multiple passes, sharp new blade, and be vigilant. As for me, I am turning a couple of shallow divided boxes into advent calendars, with a piece of (wrapped lol) "fancy" candy for each day.
House wren…😎🥰. Beautiful bird, I am not collecting wood 😏.
Love these ideas 💡 I have many little wooden pieces hanging about, time to use them in a journal! Thanks Pam😊 Ginny
Love your cow stamp!
How fun! Great for mass makes 🤗❤ Tamara
Good morning Pam! 💕 Hope you’re having a relaxing and enjoyable holiday weekend. Thanks for sharing the wood pieces ideas. 👍
I made a storage book for my Tim Holtz Christmas Ephemera. It turned out really awesome. I love having it all in a book that I can just turn pages and see the pieces instead of digging through a pile.
I just finished a journal it was so satisfying a very good mood lifting project It is for someone else who needs a pick me up
Very fun Pam...,thank you! I will try to find the little wooden hearts and play with them! Right now I have been making ephemera for my Christmas journals and I finished the front cover of one of the by collaging with paper pieces and used gold gelatos and ephemera! I love that you are so positive and reassuring cause it motivates me to just TRY THINGS!!!! YES I am still very critical with my work but trying to be more like you and just be daring and try things! I'm trying! So thanks! Love your humor!!!!
Hi Pam 😊 Lots of fun ! Thank you ❤
Dear Pam thanks a bunch. For the tutorial, I hv animals and I hv also ordered sm others. Ì hv to make 10 journals which follow the same concept but each is unique. I hv material for 5 journals but yet to find materials for the others. U are absolutely correct wen u say cleaning lets u discover items that were missing as well as new find u had forgotten. I hv pressed flowers as well as feathers. That I want to incorporate into my journals. Since time is limited to make the 10 journals I hv decided to only add one signature. I hv to post 5 journals while the other 5 will be hand delivered. First will make 5 for which I hv materials already separated. I hv dedicated spaces in my crafting space for different things for exampls adhesives junk journalling card making paper quilling embroidery etc. This helps me to save time as i hv to only look in the dedicated space for the relevant items. My crafting space is also in my room where i also work and sleep. . So i hv to keep it clean always. The crafting space is larger than the place where i work and sleep and i always say that the crafting place is encroaching into the other areas. I also hv my machine in my room. I also make it a point to collect all materials needed for a project into a tray be4 i start crafting and that saves me a lot of time as i also work 2 jobs. I always collect money and go craft shopping while i rarely shop for clothes. I also buy my stuff at an online shop and that also saves me time. Earlier i was into card making but now i am fascinated by junk journalling which is affordable and more fun as i can be very creative with junk journalling compared to xard making and it is an affordable hobby. I only do it as a hobby and always gift my journals. Your tutorials are very very helpful as u teach even the minute aspects. I hv saved many of your tutorials into my fone for easy reference. I am learning embroidery as i want to incorporate it into my journal. Pls give my hugs to sunburn and as always love u so much. Tc and enjoy the holidays and don't forget to post videos as I am waiting to grab ideas from them.

These would make great dangle for page finder (ribbon att ached to hidden spine. I have a Christmas "book" I made in a class that I have room for additional signatures I'll be adding with hidden spine. Ohhh I hear play time calling!!!
