My heart nearly stopped when you said "I spent nearly 15-20", and i thought you were about to say minutes. Thankfully it was hours. Beautiful artwork!

Thanks! First sketch to blocking in some shapes in colours might have taken 20 min. But painting takes time.
Its so stylised but also so realistic Idk what to say .... I like that you dont go for line art I just love it

its good to not do line art sometimes because you can stay more loose and change things as you go

the trick simply is: 1. realistic lighting 2. well controlled shapes and markmakings (not too small but blocky enough to keep it stylized) 3. slightly saturated colours 4. Lineart
Thank you for the walkthrough of this painting! Landscapes usually give me a hard time. From workflow to color choice, so seeing your process was very helpful!
The Best Digital Art Tutorial.✨🎨 Thank you for sharing the steadily ❤️🙏
A wonderful look into your process, and a great end result. Thanks!
You're such an inspiration to me as a fellow artist. I've learned so much from you and get excited every time you post something new! ❤️
Ahh yes, just what I needed this Monday morning. Thanks Olof
Thanks for another great video. More background work please. Love your style and use of light in your paintings.
incredible! Thank you so much for showing us your color picking process was very helpful :D
It's very relaxing to see your tutorials and how you made very simple and easy. Lots of love bro thank you for sharing 😍
You are awesome. I just loved every bit of the master touch you gave to the BG. Take care of those precious hands of yours!
As usual obsessed with your work!!
that's your art make me excited again to paint background for my self project animation asset. Many thank's to you anyway. Good job.
I mostly paint characters, but I really want to get into painting environments! I have such a hard time knowing what to do and how to do it, this process was so nice to watch, thank you!
Oh man this is so inspiring... I can get used to a daily videos!
I love your videos, Olaf - truly inspirational. As with so many people, I'd love to make my own feature film one day but budget prevents me from proceeding with it. However, making an animation instead IS doable and you've shown us the way. Thank you. One thing I noticed from this video is how much time is taken sampling/changing the colours of your brushes. An idea that might help people speed up the process a bit more is to create a palette swatch on and an extended area off the side of your canvas - they don't have to be individual colour swatches, they can be ribbons of colour/value that you can sample from using the colour picker tool.
This is so amazing, your work is always very inspiring, keep it up
Hi there olof sir. It's me from Instagram. It's like you created this lil tutorial for me. I was so happy when I saw this. Now I know the basics of painting. Thanks allot. 🙏🙏🙏

amazing
what brush are you using when you're doing colors?
Ey it would we would be really cool if you can make a video about finishing a whole painting. I don't have a problem painting trees or boxes or roofs but I can't paint a whole thing. And another one would be how to find references. Your videos are amazing man!
Great vid man! Can you please make a video about painting foliage. U paint them really lovely! Well balanced like the shapes are really amazing! This is like my fifth time here on this video haha
Olof, If I may sugest you can open the color window (F6) and chage it´s mode to HSB will help a lot for choosing your colors. and to text your values faster, you can set Color Prof Setup > Custom > Working Grey and use Ctrl+Y to alternate btwen color and b&w. :D
Dude, that 4:05 tip looks really helpful, thank you man
Thank you for the video ^^
Hopefully I can draw digital painting as this piece of art.
Nice one dude
Very good
WOW incredible !! i love this artwork ! and your reference picture wasnt used at final ? i was just to keep the moment in mind ? crazy job !!
Is their a similar brush u used at the beginning i can download in clip studio assets?
my favourite thing to paint is start without any concrete idea and then fill everything with details. clutter. stuff. can be a room, a machine, a castle, forest or a spaceship.doesnt really matter.
I am a huge fan of your environments! Can you please show me how to make a fairy tale one!
This is a fantastic video! I'm curious what resolution or canvas size you work with for a painting like this? I never know where to start with that. Thanks!
can u make more of this! u helped me a lot for developing my process in making BGs

My eyes got bounced when you said "15 to 20 hours to Complete This " Damn... I can't paint like this
wow,,
What brush do you used in bg designing ps ..........btw love your work ❤❤❤
which brush did u used ? can u plz tell ;] and aslo can we download your brushes
what brush do u use? for this kind of thing
Do u have any books I could study on perspective? I’ve look at a lot of tutorials on here and nothing is clicking for me. Just like to make sure my paintings or sketches are not off and give them some depth. Lately I’ve just been free hand because I don’t get ( have never got) that horizon line 1,2,3 point perspective stuff . 🤷🏽♀️
❤
What brush did u use
❤❤❤
Great video as always, how much time does it take in total to draw this masterpiece.

The two I was using here are Dave Grecos brushes. Which you can get from his gumroad for 3 dollars. But you can make your own ps brushes too. And there are many free packs out there I am sure.
😍
Sir would you please suggest me any good laptop for photoshop and animation? I've tried macbook pro, somehow all the brushes that I've used gives almost similar results. Please respond, thanks in advance.

The laptop will not change your brushes. MacBook pro sounds like it would be a good fit for you. Are you using a tablet in combination with it?
What drawing pad is that?
This is awesome. After painting, did u use any of the Photoshop blend mode to achieve a photo realistic image?
