I love this video. So many of the things you said really hit home for me. I feel like I hit an ugly stage in every piece that I do and at this point I know to push past the ugly, because it's just part of the process and I need to trust that the piece will turn out eventually - even if I have to take a break and step away for a bit. You did a wonderful job with this painting - it's beautiful!

Great video as usual! Valerie Lin(another art channel-i think you would love her) is always talking about "flow state" ... she is the only person I have ever heard use that term, until you just now! Ps- my sister LOVES the glasses! If I ever get a prescription for glasses i am going to get those, too.

Thank you! 💜 Ah yes! I know Valerie Lin, she's amazing! I actually read a book on the flow state a couple of years ago :) It's called "Flow" by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi if you're interested! YAY! I'm so glad your sister loves the glasses :) aren't they so fun?! haha In case you do want the glasses, you don't need prescription! You can get the "non-prescription" glasses 🤗 just thought I'd let you know in case you weren't sure.

sometimes you just have to erase parts of your art to make it work, but getting rid of those areas can be so hard but its usually for the better 😀
