Hello Ana, my New York friend. This sketch/painting of Gandalf's horse "Shadowfax," Is a really lovely piece of art. Eyes seem to be an issue for you though but as you persevere with this particular feature, you always seem to win over in the end Ana. Absolutely gorgeous piece of art and I love the colours. Once again, as always, I enjoy your videos and watching you demonstrate your art. By the way Ana, I have the collection of Tolkien books, which I have read over many times including The Hobbit. Naturally these are in paperback form. Like you I have also seen the film's, twice. It is by far one of my most favourite stories. Well Ana, once again dear friend, thank you for sharing this "first" I really love it!!! And yes, Ana, here is a challenge of your skill. please have a go at doing a horse scene, perhaps with wild horses running together through a stream. I'm a huge fan of Lord of the Rings. I read the books not long before the first movie came out, saw all the movies in the theater, and watched the extended cut more times than I can count. Your Shadowfax is beautiful. I really like the bit of yellow you have where the light is hitting him. It balances with the blues and purples very nicely.

I've been curious to watch the extended versions!!! I can't believe they didn't show how Saruman died in the original movie 😳 I was wondering where he went. I found out later that that scene is in the extended version. And thank you so much for your comment 💕

This painting turned out lovely 😍💜 TLOTR is my favourite saga, I enjoyed The Hobbit trilogy too, but the first ones came out when I was a child and I absolutely loved them, to this day I still watch all of them at least once a year! 🤣 Back to the painting I think you did wonderful even being your very first time painting a horse, so I thing you would have so much fun trying new animals and challenging yourself out of your comfort zone. That's what I love about your art journey, you always keep improving and pushing your work forward. Keep going 🥰 lots of love from Mallorca 💜💜

I liked all the Lord of the Rings movies, but I haven't read the books...yet. When I was a kid, I used to watch the Lord of the Rings cartoon often.

Read the books and seen the movies, except for the hobbit movie, turned it off after 20 minutes lol Your Shadowfax turned out lovely 😀
