I did 75 of these "in honor" of my 75th birthday - have been leaving them here and there on Whidbey Island, WA where I live. Great fun! Thanks so much for giving us all so much pleasure.

From a fellow artist and Canadian, I am proud of you and your tutorials. I am just now gearing up to paint rocks again. I once painted a whole village, called Little Rock. There was nothing lacking in my town. From Got Rocks jewellery store to Rock of Ages church. It was often photographed by visitors. Such fun I had. I am now a widow and live with my daughter, big yard and tons of rocks. I m laying in my paint now.

I saw a lot of rock painting tutorials but this is seriously one of the nicest ones I have come across. I plan on adding one hieroglyph on each beetle ro make it mystical-ish. Love the style and the way you do the fine lines is super satisfying! 😊😊

I live on what used to be the bottom of the Niagara River, I can't stick a shovel in the ground without digging up rocks! I got rocks! If you live near the Great Lakes, or near a good-sized river, you will find plenty of rocks.
