paint with me 🎨// trying jelly gouache for the first time
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
My fyp has been nothing but jelly gouache videos for weeks, and omg I yield. I bought a set off Amazon and decided to test them out for the first time today. I wanted to do a chill hang out/paint with me style video and give my thoughts on this set (I think this was a trend like 2 years ago and everyone has moved on but not me baby)

Satisfying tape peeling at the end is literally the best feeling ever when it goes smooth 😭
Can we get more gouache tutorials like this!? This was everything! I'm so glad you didn't stop adding flowers actually. I think it really made the paintings whimsical
I enjoyed watching this video the combination of your awesome paintings & your fun personality made the whole video fun! Have a blessed day! So happy I found your channel 😊
I’ve quickly become addicted to your content over the past day! Your videos have great editing, a flare of genuinely funny humor, and it’s so fun watching you go through the process. I feel very inspired. Also, mushrooms make everything better.

that means so much! 🥲 thank you friend
beautiful 🤩
I don’t think I ever outgrew my British orphan phase. That’s why I talked my husband into buying a crumbling old house with a wildly overgrown garden.

my delusion is thinking I could restore a cottage in the woods with zero renovation experience while mothering a flock of ducks
Lovely art and subjects! I picked up gouache at the beginning of last year and it is definitely the medium that will expand to greater realms of fantastically themed pieces. As far as finding a way to prevent staining on the palatte, small ceramic plates or butcher trays are spectacular. Plastic anything will just stain. One method I used to help lengthen the time they stay wet is to have a small spritz bottle of water on hand and simply use it periodically while the cover is off. To add more of a preventative measure towards mold, you can mix a little alcohol and vegetable glycerin together and add about 10% the spritz bottle. Gouache is just one of those paints that if you're not using it constantly then it's best to check it periodically and spritz and stir. Mind you this is only for jelly gouache! Well, keep creating magical worlds and Odie's! TTFN

this is so helpful! thank you friend 🤤
Awwww sooooo cute!! Thank you for this video. I wasn't too sure if I wanted to buy jelly gouache. I have regular gouache and watercolor paints that I kinda interchange them 2. Thank you that was great. I may buy it after a few more videos to check out.

Thank you! The himi sets are fairly affordable so it’s a good option if you want to dabble in gouache. I love the acrylic/watercolor hybrid
I am so in love with these omg
I don't mind the non air tight case too much (even though I feel like mine is but anywho) I love gouache because of how It's pigmented and can be worked like acrylic but it's activated by water and can also be used like watercolor, and the fact say I forgot about these pains for like 20 years I find them in my dusty old basement I go and decide to try them out again even if they're old as hell I can just go and add some water and they'll be as opaque as ever just as if they were new, that's my favorite bloody thing about that! Which reminds me I have some RLLLY old tubed gouache, I should try to cut them up and revive them👀. And I generally hate tubes in general for like anything because things get stuck in there and then you have to cut it up and you have to get them out and it's like a waste of time and it's messy it's a freaking annoying I love that these are literally like jelly pods, they're so easy😭🤲💕
I love both paintings so much!!
ive just watched like 10 of your vids in a row, i love the cozy artsy cottagcore content!!! (and puppy content of course)

For cleaning the palette you can try a magic sponge
They turned out so nice. Not too many flowers for me!
Despite my crazy low attention span I have managed to watch all the videos on this channel… and I wound up buying air dry clay, mirrors, frames, sculpey, and gouache. I cannot wait to see what you come up with next!

Can you reconstitute gouache paints if they dry out?

yep! If they dry on your palette you can spritz with water and revive them. It’s a little more tricky if the cartridges dry out, but if they’re not too far gone you can add water and remix the paints
Artists must suffer for the art. That’s why they call it PAINting!
