All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.. JRR.Tolkien

This album helped me change myself, and get my career and life going. The night of July 17th, 2018, I had an hour-long walk in the rain, thinking things over. After 7 years of wandering. Trying to find myself. That night happened a few months after the spark of positive inspiration I had earlier, which began it all. But that night long walk in the rain, along Boston's Revere Beach, was the turning point. And I have Paint The Sky Red to thank for helping fuel that moment for me. Now I've just finished trade school, and have a long brilliant career out of me, i am here again for the first time since that night, to once more play this album as a memento of success in my life. Now, on to bigger things.

For me, this genre is the perfection of ambient music. You don't really focus to the music while listening to it. You just feel it and let the music send you to another dimension. It's like a soundtrack of real life.

i hear people say this a lot. that comments are toxic but i never see it. it must all come down to like the last guy said. its all about the channels you are choosing to watch. perhaps when you see toxic comments its a good indication that you are currently on the wrong path in your life, be that a big mistake that put you wildly off course or a small detour down the occasional dark alley. of course i say this as the guy that occasionally visits 4chan/pol. so sometimes i like a bit of trolling to upset the apple cart.

Of course. Of FLIPPING course a solid work of art like this is tucked away on youtube. "To Everness" alone sold me. Here I am, just sitting here listening to some crap and this thing pops up. A Guitar played by a mathematical genius, drums syncing to the heartbeat of my soul. Oh and then guess what?- A synchronization of all effort and the beauty of mankind at 2:18. Like, who the fuck wrote this piece of wizardry? I'm over here banging my damn head like im at a death-metal concert in a rhythm that could only please Bill fucking Cosby if he decided to spike my alcoholic beverage. Every drum beat is a case of traumatic brain injury and each melodic pluck of a guitar string is an orgasm in my heart, probably not healthy. Now I have to get my fucking cholesterol checked, and buy this album. Thanks a lot.

fo real... bro.....- when i listen to this album-( easily on e of the best post rock albums ever) ...... i, i could easily have, many a time over: stabbed myself through the heart, to release my soul, out of pure joy.........----but being just a man; not too long ago a boy; i fight back the tears but release the pain through my pencil and brush......and i can feel my spirit soar with the Swans over the sea; as they glide over the shores; to me, of unknown kingdoms that dwell underneath, overhead and all around us: from the microscopic to the bahemoths that roam in the watery deeps of space......................

I once went to a hilly area for a summer vacation and me and my siblings and cousins were hanging out on the roof of the cabin at late night talking the usual stuff. the stars were shining like diamonds and the clouds going past us like paint brushes going through a night sky canvas. its one of the most amazing feeling you can get, try it out. This songs reminds me of the moment, we cant control most of the things in our lives but we sure can absolutely control how we think and how we act (if you guys are going though hard times) :) hope you guys are having an amazing day. take care.

Goin on 2 years abstinent, not a youtube suggestion to trigger me... no more blissfully lost nights blurring my days wandering endlessly in the lyric-less landscapes that burst with hallucinogenic cacophonies and crescendos relapsing into a hallmark of impossibly titanic formlessness, masses in sound, one track an album, all the albums the same band smattering into one another, all their musical color painted violently across my ribcage, a Sistine cavern to spit upon the real thing. It's come back for me... oh God. To take me eternally, swallowed silently sweeping my life into it's gaping maw... I pray, oh God please til my dying day I pray to take. And how, but why? Don't you see, or should I say... hear? There's no fighting beauty. AHHHH, Just when I thought I was out... Post rock posts me rock fuck the post back in!

We were shells by the sea, laying dormant on the scorching sand, abandoned by our former owners like rags dolls no longer suited for the imagination of a young female child. Former cacoons exposing our relative existence, we were asteroids crashing upon the surface of the moon, like a speck of hair on your cheek, the moon never knew you were there. We are timeless, yet aging, We bark like dogs yet soar like eagles. We were bed sheets hiding the nakedness of our morality and imperfection, hiding the ignorance and distrust of others. We formed and decayed like ice cubes in a glass of water. Tears of condensations upon the brims and sides of our transparent bodies. If we are glass, then that lonliness is heat. How long til I shatter into a million pieces? A million molecules lost to the naked eyes? As small as a grain of sand. Like an atom we are so little, yet so powerful, see without the plane the bombs never drop, without the soldier the gun is never shot. Yet we pulled through, like the engine saying he thinks he can we charged on, following the rails of life up the hill. While we were afraid of hights we enjoyed the ride as we dashed down the spine of that hill. We are magicians making wishes appear out of thin air, Astronauts who haven't been to outerspace, Medics who fear blood, While we have yet to challenge our fears we limp to the battle ground and draw our swords, It may kill me, but so long as I die doing the thing I love. See we weren't meant to be stuck in cages, We are compressed air in a can, the fizz in soda. Stir us up enough and we want to explode. That air wants to escape, it wants to migrate south like thr geese every fall. While they can handle the cold, its better to be warm. our hearts are orchestras of tales and beliefs, a million angelic voices singing the blues and happy tunes, our eyes windows to an eternity of endless possibility's, The man who said life is a chance, was a fool! You are worth more than chance, You have a gift, no! You are a splendid gift, Unique, powerful. So project your important voice, stand for those with no legs or feet, see, speak, and dony forget to Breathe!

I just came up with this little poetry after listening to the whole album. Bare in mind that English is not my mother tongue: I came to you one day, Barefoot and with hope. While everything was in decay, You threw me a rope, And Iclimbed my way to you, Driven by passion and desire, The strength I dre. Just to reach you. We walked Beyond The Breeze, All the way To Everness. "A Billet Doux for you" I said, After which, Victory followed. The day we layed in bed, The moments While We Sleepwalk came passing by, My dear, I came by to say: In the end, "The Happy Ending Is You".

When I listen to post rock in general (different albums that YT suggests me) I start to have a vivid imagionation, and I make little stories or scenes in my head in tune with the song. It brought creativity back to me. Maybe one day I'll start to write something. At the same time some melodies are sad, and it triggers my depression a bit.

You need.. to watch the sky at night. You need.. to see.. all the stars.. all the wide space.. You need to understand.. that we are in spaceship called Earth.. we are.. constantly moving.. everytime.. We.. are moving. We travel constantly.. through space.. we are moving.. to a world unknown, a world unknown and mostly.. bigger that your mind can imaginate. This.. is not unreal guys. It is here, but we.. are like nothing compare to this. When you think the universe is big.. think more bigger, because.. this is more bigger that your mind can imaginate. Space.. is amazing. I like to tell to everyone that when you look up to the space at night, you don't see a world dark and scary.. but a world beautiful, and full of mysteries.
