Never thought of this. I have a all black 2011 Taurus and wanted a mesh grill but it’s a hassle so I might just do the high heat bbq spray. Seems much easier

The thing I like about PlastiDip is that you can take it off if needed.. This thing lasted me 4 years and I sold the car so it last a long time. Actually when I sold the car it was still on the grill looking good.

@@chrisexperience7 Yes.. No sanding or anything and you can pull it off when you dont want it anymore. Make sure you do at least 6 coats. I did it to my new Canyon also and it looks amazing.

Is it difficult to remove the front and rear emblems? What needs to be done?

I didn’t remove them. I painted over them and the with a blade, I took off the plastidip. It’s pretty simple

That front grill is pretty dope

No, I just did the upper and the back..

how did you get the plasti dip off of the "ford" emblem so cleanly? would it be better just tape over it when spraying? Thanks for the upload

Its easier to just paint the whole thing and then us a small blade to cut the edge of the emblem and pull the plasti dip off.. taping it is worse, trust me..

I have not done it but it should be fairly easy

way, I used high temp Matte black BBQ grill spay paint, way better then that plastic dip, if you ever want to remove the paint use Goog off with a rag. Lan, I'm sure we won't relate the Bonjovi music you like, to each there own! 🌽⚾

My Plastic Dip has lasted.. But soon I have to give a touch up

I know I'm late, but I would've just taken out the grille and that rear piece, don't have to worry about all that masking.
